Ypsi Double Adapter - Accessory

Easily installed, allows the seats to face forwards and inwards. It’s very easy to attach and I attach the seats or car seats, a great price for this attachment. Especially for us, we have two babies and this attachment helped us do a lot more and give the boys feet more space. Works excellent!

These work wonderfully to allow for a double stroller in an unconventional way. It’s easy to use and assemble with little effort and I love that my children still have room to recline without imposing on the other’s space.

We currently have an infant car seat and a forward facing seat for our toddler. This attachment works perfectly on our Peg Perego seats!

I purchased this for my newborn and my toddler (2 years old) to be able to manage both of them on my already existing stroller. I think the price is good especially as it lengthens the amount of time I am able to use my stroller which we purchased for a considerable amount of money. It was easy to install and attach both the car seat for the newborn and upright seat for my toddler. You do have to take a part of it off to fold the stroller to place in your car as well as you also need to convert it back to a single stroller for 1 child as the weight distribution is off with only 1 child when it’s meant to have 2. Overall it fits our needs as a new family of four and I’m excited about the times we have used it and will get to use it.

So easy to attach to the Peg Perego Ypsi stroller! We adore this stroller and it has made the transition from one to two kids way easier.

I think these are overpriced for what they are, especially considering the amount of money I ALREADY paid for the stroller itself, but these are totally worth it to transform your stroller into a double if you have a second child.

I love that my PegPerego YPSI goes from a single to a double stroller. Know that this product is not easy to install. You will also seem to lose stability for the upper seat/connection. Great money saver instead of having to buy a second stroller, but not as sturdy as I would have expected, considering the original cost of the stroller and this add-on.

J’avais déjà cette poussette avec un seul siège depuis 18 mois. Un nouveau poupon est arrivé, j’ai acheté les adapteurs et trouvé un autre siège identique. Vraiment intéressant pour les multiples possibilités.

They are kind of wobbly and seem like a cheap type …

When I seen these adapters I was over the moon little did that excitement go, as soon as I realized these adapters don’t allow the toddler seat to recline if your child is sleeping or tired. Peg perego reached out and replaced them ! Seats recline no problem

I use the top attachment for the car seat and the lower attachment for the stroller seat as recommended by Peg Perego. The stroller doesn't fold up and lock with the stroller seat attached to the lower adapter which is understandable because it makes the stroller a lot longer. My bigger issue is attaching the car seat at the top. It's heavy, especially with my 6mo baby inside it, like a total of about 12-14kg right now (up to30lb). The sides rarely line up when putting it onto the stroller, and I have to hold baby's and the car seat's full weight up while working around it to get both sides locked in. It also often gets stuck when trying to remove the car seat from the stroller as well. So I have to unlatch one side, then walk to the other side to lift the car seat directly up with one arm while unlatching the other side with the other arm. Takes some serious core strength to safely hold baby and carseat above shoulder height while re-adjusting sometimes, and even then it takes up to 3 tries to get it off the adapter. This Travel System cost me over $1000. You'd think they'd have nicer adapters that are more reliable. But I guess it "does the job." I'm looking into buying a double stroller or wagon from a different company.
