Whitmor 24 Pocket OTD Shoe Organizer Clear

I'm very happy with this!I hung it on my closet wall instead of on a door, but it works just as well. Seems pretty durable. I wear a woman's size 9 and it fits my shoes just fine. For things like boots and hiking shoes, each shoe needs to be in it's own pouch, but with flip flops and some thinner/smaller heels, I could actually fit a pair of shoes into one pouch. Been using it for a month and no problems. It's great because it makes use of otherwise unused vertical space. Instead of having shoes in a tub on the floor, they're organized on the wall, easier to access, and your floor space looks much less cluttered.

This is an excellent product. It is strong and good quality, and I really like the fact that I can see exactly what is in each pocket. It is very unobtrusive; the last over-the door shoe organizer I had banged against the door all the time, and I was unable to close the door without scratching the frame. This one is really nice; it holds a lot, but it doesn't take up much space. So far I have two: I am using one for winter shoes and one for summer sandals, but I may order another one or two when I think of something else to store this way. I just wish I had a pantry; this would be perfect for that!

Great quality, love the grommets and stability for hanging. The hooks are wide so they go over almost any size door. I bought this to take on a cruise to hold makeup and such (cruise cabins are very small with no space). It worked great - all my makeup and jewelry were in one spot, I could easily access it, and nothing was lost in a bag. Quality was good enough I didn't want to leave it behind, so brought it home and now use it for storage for out of season shoes. Well worth the money spent on it.

Beware - this item doesn't fit a standard door! I bought three and had to return them. The hooks that go over the top of the door are tiny - not nearly wide enough to fit.

My residence hall room isn't the largest compared to other universities and I've been looking for a way to make room in my crammed closet. My shoes were all over the closet floor and I wanted to organize them somehow, but shelves seemed too bulky to me and space consuming themselves. Randomly browsing on Amazon I saw this and decided to give it a shot. I am extremely pleased with the results. My shoes fit perfectly in the pockets (I am female and wear shoe size 7 1/2), and they are all now neatly hidden behind my closet door until I need them. Bam, instant closet floor space I can do something with.* I do have one problem with this product. At my university our closet doors are thick, anti fire, anti tornado, anti break in, lockable vault doors basically. The hooks that came with the organizer may work on "normal" household doors, but my door was far too thick for them (2"). There was no way I could bend those hooks to fit as much as I tried. The problem could easily be solved with small wire command hooks, but it is an inconvenience to go out and buy them, when I already bought this product expecting it to come with all the parts it needed. The makers should have thought more about door widths.I simply did not feel like going out into the rain and getting command hooks so I was cheap and used masking tape. Yes you read that right. I bent the top white part where the hooks go onto the top of the door frame and secured it with masking tape. Even with all of my running shoes, moccasins, and flip flops in place it still (amazingly) shows no sign of falling!!

Works okay but the shoe compartments could stand to be a little bigger.

We're very happy with this for several reasons.Reason for Purchase -- we needed a way to organize our pantry because we buy a lot of bulk spices in bags and had a lot of clutter. This is thin enough that it hangs on the inside of the pantry door and can be filled up with various items -- bags, bottles, etc. -- and the door still closes easily. The see-through pouches allow you to see exactly what it is in the pouch and it's extremely light.Price -- very reasonable.Sturdy -- appears that this will last as long as we don't pull on it or whip it around extremely.Setup -- took all of 2 minutes, including the time it took to get it out of the bag.Fit -- perfect fit as the hooks go right over the door and they are so thin, they don't scrape the doorframe.I'm honestly thinking about buying several more of these for the rest of the house, including our medicine/bathroom closet and possible storing some of the kids' toys. Very happy with this.

I bought this product and was excited to put it to use as I expected to free up some floor space in my dorm room, but...The problem with this product is that if your door isn't the right width, it simply won't work. The door to my room is a little wide and the hooks' default width would not work for it. I tried to re-size the hooks in order to make it work, but two of the three snapped as I was re-sizing them (and I was as gentle as possible with them).The verdict: for the right door, I'm sure it works fine. For me, I wasted a bit of money on a frustrating product.
