It was great! I’m still learning so I fumbled with it and yanked it pretty hard and it was study. It was better quality than I thought it’d be for the price. Great buy!

This is perfect for someone just beginning to hand spin. Nothing fancy, but it spins really well and the hook is firmly attached.

Since it is for beginners, it could have came with instructions.

Now I need to learn how to use it. It's very sturdy and seems to be very well made. Trying to make cotton yarn from a cotton bole.

Ordered this spindle and when it arrived, the bottom 2 inches were broke off. Ordered a replacement and the second one, the hook on top was bent to the side. Instead of replacing it again, I was able to have my husband bend it back straight. Once fixed, the spindle seems to work pretty well.

This is a good beginner top whorl spindle. My only complaint is that some parts were not sanded down good since there were snags on my wool.
