Solid mailbox. Very sturdy

I really like this mailbox. It’s the nicest looking mailbox on my block. I like that it was easy to install, the design of the mailbox with the lock, and the pewter color. I can’t testify as to whether the lock mechanism is full proof but I’m sure if a criminal really wanted to get my mail s/he would be able to. At least it’s a little deterrent. My only 2 issues are that my 12 yo daughter can reach through the slot and grab the mail because her arm is skinny enough so it’s definitely not totally secure and another little qualm of mine is that when I water my lawn and the water gets on the mailbox there are water spots on it after. It really shows because of the dark pewter color but I still like how the mailbox looks. UPDATE: The clips that hold outgoing mail will hold regular size envelopes but if you want to mail out a 5x7 Christmas card the card will stick out of the mailbox and the door will collapse and open fully since the magnet that closes the door is blocked. This became a pain during the holidays because I didn’t want to leave my mail fully exposed in case they got damaged from rain or someone took them. I wish there was some way you could adjust the clips to make them lower.

These are so well made. I bought another for a friend who bought a house as a gift.

Nice, well-constructed mailbox. Recommended if you have mail issues. (We don't worry about mail thieves any longer.) Wish the mail slot was a little larger. (If it was, I would rate 5 stars.) Easy to install when using my own hardware. I recommend you purchase some lock lubricant to make inserting the key easier.)

Great size and nice that it not only locks but small boxes can be placed in it.

Had a few years now and still as good as new, even in the desert heat. I even painted it recently. Much better than the unlockable kind.

Great heavy duty mailbox and easy to put up.
