Life Saver
This allergy-proof, dust-proof mattress cover has been a total lifesaver for me! I'm severely allergic to dust mites, get styes and bad eye allergies, and I also have cats, so keeping my bed allergen-free has always been a challenge. Since using this cover, my nights have been so much more comfortable, and my allergies are finally under control. The cover fits my mattress perfectly, creating a snug, impenetrable barrier. The material feels durable yet soft and breathable—| was worried it might feel plasticky or noisy, but it doesn't at all. It's also super easy to clean, which is a must with cats around. What I love most is that it doesn't just keep out dust mites; it also keeps cat hair and dander from settling into my mattress. Now I can cuddle with my cats without worrying about allergens building up where I sleep. If you're someone with allergies and pets, this is an ansolute must-have. My quality of sleep and overall comfort have improved so much, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

every bed must have.js
why are these like not included with every mattress? if this had 2 conditions it would be absolutely perfect one if it was waterproof and if it was organic which there is version that is organic from National Allergy but idid not get it not cause it was more expensive but it had pores of ibelieve around 4 microns n this one has protections of 2.6 microns. also the 2 i purchased were both true to size if not a lil extra. both made in the USA. also before purchasing these iread some say that it was flimsy n it ripped with a light tug n was bad quality n that did cause me worries n almost looked else where but after looking around nothing fit my needs. it had to Made in USA it had to be bug and dust mite proof and it had to also mean the zip was bug and dustmite proof it had to be all cotton... with that in mind i took a shot n am not disappointed super choice. machine washed dryer dried both king and cali king once and no shrinkage no pilling very happy. with all things considered why doesn't every bed have this. highly recommended. hopefully national allergy association will come with a organic cotton version with 2.6microns or less version n if it was organic n waterproof then watch out but until then closest to prefect ifound . oh and allmost forgot this comes with a lifetime warranty. SO Totally worth it.js

Not waterproof
Quality cotton. Very nice. I assumed it was waterproof. My bad. In my defense tho, it did not say it wasn't.

Nice and easy
These were easy to install onto my mattress although when zipping it up I had to be extra careful as it reluctantly zipped but I won’t be taking it off again for what I hope will be at least a couple years so that was not much of a problem. There’s not much noise to be heard when you lay on it, I just hear my sheets whispering which isn’t near as loud as my previous mattress cover was so I’m very pleased with this one. It had a bit of that new smell but it’s already gone a few days later too.

Tore on first application
As a long time allergy sufferer I’ve used various versions of these covers. This was first time one tore while trying to apply it to the mattress. Not only that, the zipper mechanism broke on first attempt. Not sure if it’s because it’s cotton. Previous ones I’ve used were more plastic like so wanted to try a natural fiber. disappointed because Amazon initially routed me to the company for issue but national allergy association didn’t ever contact me back. Luckily, Amazon will refund. Don’t waste your money.

Soft, effective allergy control mattress cover
Got this a few weeks ago after first trying the Allersoft pillow cover made from the same material. I have a dust mite allergy and was constantly suffering with a very stuffy nose all night long. OTC medication (Zyrtec) did not help it. The only thing that helped was prescription Flonase. But after using it 2+ years, my nasal cavities became irritated. So I tried this mattress cover, and switched to Allegra OTC. My allergy symptoms are much better. Not 100% gone, but 80-90%. I only have occasional stuffy nose while sleeping now, and suspect it is due to dust mites in the room (carpet) and not from the mattress. My next step will be to eliminate the carpet and go to hardwood floors. Oh, I also use an Eco Living Friendly (ELF) box spring protector purchased from Amazon. I can't say for sure that either the mattress covers or the Allegra have provided the biggest benefit. But the cost for the mattress cover is only equal to a few months of allergy medication, so it is money well spent if it adds another layer of control. I can say that there have been no negative effects from the mattress cover. The best thing about it is it is very soft and cool. It was easy to put on a regular twin. All I did was raise up the mattress from the foot of the bed until it was vertical. Then slid the cover over the top (head) and pulled it down to the bottom. Then laid the mattress head back down, lifted the mattress foot slightly, and pulled the cover over the foot of the mattress and zipped it up. It fits quite loose on my regular 7" deep mattress, so I just tucked the extra material underneath. For anything larger than a regular twin, this is probably a 2 person job to put on.
