Good PSU, but it came at a cost much higher than I expected
Update on performance:Working solid and been on 24/7 for 2 months. No issues with power delivery for my 1080ti. The product itself is a 5 star psu. Still a bit salty, but I would recommend.---------First off, this review is a bit biased. I bought this psu to relace a cheap no brand psu that was powering 2 ssds, an 18tb platter hard drive, an i5, and a 1080ti. The case is a htpc case, so not much room on the inside for any excessive cabling. I spent a good hour routing cables and plugging everything in. Then I attached the power cable to the wall and hit the power button... nothing. No indication of power at all. I followed the very limited instructions, but it would not power on. At this point, I wasn't sure if it was DOA or if I maybe made a stupid mistake plugging things in. I spent another 30 minutes undoing all of the cable management and checking everything. It turns out that for some reason if I plugged the 1080ti with 2 seperate 6pin power connectors, the psu just would not turn on. I tried one cable that has two 6pin connectors on it and although not ideal, it powered up. After another 30 minutes of rerouting the cables, I powered it up and loaded windows, but the 18tb hard drive with all my roms and games wasn't showing up. Sure enough, due to a lack of flex in the power cable, it completely broke off the backing of the sata power connector on the drive. I know I shouldn't blame Seasonic for that, but if it had just worked the first time in the configuration the manual stated, this would not have happened. Incidentally, to change out the power supply now cost me over $670. Needless to say I am salty. Maybe add a power indicator led on the psu and make the included manual useful. The amount of time and unnecessary moving of cables in tight spaces could have been avoided. Again, I can't say I blame Seasonic for this, and the power supply is excellent otherwose, but in 25 years of working with computers, I won't forget how angry I felt when I discovered the broken Sata power plug on that hard drive.

Heavy like a truck but can handle multiple blackout, outagges and power surges per day!
I live in a country with very bad grid and power delivery, so having a hefty, powerful and certified PSU was a MUST. It works great. Modularity is amazing and allows me to have a very clean build. Loved it. Also manual was VERY useful.

The Best
I can understand why this PS is hard to get. It is extremely efficient, very quiet, stable and comes with a wide range of cables. I keep watching the item for it to come back to Amazon Prime at decent price so I can purchase another one for my older computer.

better than expected
I have a Corsair 860ax that was going to be the system power supply. I put it in and all was okay. Then I needed my old computer working again so enter the Seasonic px850. Very familiar installing as I pulled the Corsair and installed the Seasonic. Corsair cables don't fit Seasonic.. both came with plenty of cables. Surprise was I get slightly better performance with the Seasonic. Suspect it does a better job of powering my Ryzen 3700x. Corsair works okay and is going back into 8350 machine. No issues to me means an excellent product. It works and works well.Just for reference:asus Prime Pro x570Ryzen 3700xnvidia 1660ti3 nvme drivessingle asus cd drivestock coolerReally not stressing the 850 watts... a future proof in case I add toys later. Only thing I'd change would be going to titanium class but those were n/a when I ordered. Whole rig runs notably cooler than 8350/750ti machine.

I’m getting Platinum for now on.
This PSU is awesome. I definitely noticed my system purring much quieter and with a lot of oomph. A step up from my 750 watt gold super flower PSU

A cool power supply I can trust on
It is a cool product I won't regret I purchased it. It comes with a 10-year warranty which makes me very confident and satisfied. Great product. I am very happy to switch from a semi-modular psu to this. Very flexible and easy to install.

Seasonic is always TOP DOG
I've purchases Seasonic PSU's before. Last one I bought was back in 2016 and the only reason I retired it is because it was an X Series Gold that had some safety feature that was causing chronic Event 41 problems, resetting my settings and just making me a nervous wreck. Aside from that though the old still functions well, the same can be said for this one as well. The Hybrid system is a little odd but I've been running this new Seasonic for 24 hrs straight with NO hiccups at all. Seasonic...YOU GUYS ROCK!!

INSECT BUG And DIED IN 2 days.
BE AWARETHE CABLE BAG HAVE BUGS, yes INSECT BUG.(Update 2020/06/05)After 2 days of use, it died. YES IT DIED.I was playing Valorent with friends, suddenly the power went off, so I checked my power supply with paper clip, the fan isn’t moving at all. Don’t know where are all these good review coming from but will never try seasonic again. If my motherboard or GPU is broken, I don’t think they will pay for any of those. (Wish I didn’t sell my older Silverstone Silver+ 850w)
