Don’t let the basics in Amazon basics mislead you, this feels like a sturdy and high quality tape measure. The buttons feel solid, the tape feels firm with clear numbering and the wind back spring is strong.

I really like this measure as it’s very substantial. It feels far from a basic item. It’s chunky and cased in hard rubber. There’s a nylon hanging handle along with a metal belt clip. There’s the usual button to lock and unlock the tape. But there’s also another button that seems to raise the tape slight when it’s locked - I’m not quite sure why that would be use? The tape itself is wide and solid made. Overall I’m really happy and it’s one of the better tape measures I have used. There’s no price on the product page at the moment so it’s hard to judge value for money but I’m impressed with the quality.

It’s easy to read the numbers, and the construction is surprisingly heavy and solid. The stop on the tape is a toggle instead of a slide and thus far it’s worked well. Time will tell if that wears out. I’ve dropped it several times with no real damage suffered. Happy with the product.

An excellent tape measure which is as good as any other branded tape I've ever used. Very solid, sturdy housing. A nice feature is the quick stop button on the underside. Other than that it works like any other tape measure. Great value. 5*
