LOVE. It's on my coffee table and a great discussion starter. I love that there is a lot of writing about the inspiration and how the photographers were set up. Would love to be able to afford one of her prints. High quality paper and the color is perfect.

Ryan Murphy....EAT YOUR HEART OUT WITH THIS!!I was fortunate enough to see this work at a museum, and the show was curated so meticulously, that I had to buy this book. The images are so bold, that even the more subdued shots have you scouring the pages for the chilling details that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Ironically, Haunted Houses are not my thing...I hate lines, jump scares and being pushed and pulled in different directions. However, I LOVE getting to experience a Haunted House through the lens of this artist. Every page is something out of a nightmare, and my curiosity is at an all time high about the level of detail haunted house creators put into each 'scene'.Make sure you take the cover off the book, even just once to see the actual hardcover....it's so simple and gorgeous. I can't decide to leave the cover on or not, because the book AND the cover are so beautiful.Also, I bought a few copies of this book to use as costume contest prizes. HAUNT was so well received, that some category winners asked to turn in their 'other' prizes for copies of this book....so I bought three more :)

I can't say that I am a big haunted house fan... until now. Until now; the haunted house industry has lived in darkness and the shadows. Misty Keasler's latest work has managed to both shed a little light into this shadowed enigma while letting those involved still maintain their mystery. The portraits completely mesmerized my thoughts while the photos of the themed rooms haunt my dreams. This book is a must for those infatuated with all things scary and for those wanting a peek behind the curtain!
