Amazon Brand - Solimo Whole Durum Wheat Fusilli Pasta, 500g

I had to throw away the whole packet after cooking it once.. Better to go for regular Pasta or eat Roti if you want whole wheat..

This is an overall great product .However beware that , to no fault of the manufacturer , this ( whole wheat ) pasta has a grainer texture compared the smooth texture of normal ( maida and semolina mix ) pasta .Extra credit to amazon though for sticking true to advertising and making pasta litrally out of whole wheat instead of a mixed product like most other manufacturers .

It tasted terrible. It has a bad texture and kills your dish. Just get regular pasta.

I was thoroughly surprised as to how over powering the taste of this pasta is, it doesn't really seem to soften after the recommended cooking time either. I have cooked it twice and both times it ruined the dish. Usually cheese can save anything, but no amount of cheese can save this. It was really upsetting.I have 4 packets of this horrid "pasta" I don't know what to do. I suppose they would be great for kids crafts, where you are gluing and putting glitter on it. I think that might make it more edible. Sheesh, the other users are right, if you want whole wheat have a delicious roti.Am so sorry I bought this pasta

i usually do go for the whole wheat pasta option as i love pasta and whole wheat is a much healtier option. so when i saw this i thought to myself as a much cheaper and affordable option than usual. but when it arrived i was shocked to see the condition of the packet. it seemed so old. but when i checked the expiry date...weirdly it wasn't expired. so i thought to give it a try. made a beautiful alfredo sauce and used up some of my best ingredients (including some imported Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese which tears me up) i put the pasta into the pot to cook..even after 20 mins....they weren't cooked!! i gave it another 20 mins...they softened up a bit. so i was like ok...i can fix this. so i gave it up and i poured in my alfredo and cooked it for some more time with additional pasta water and i must have gave it additional 10-20 mins..did a small taste test..it was soft..but not al dente exactly. so i thought of taking it off the stove coz pasta continous to cook in the host sauce "usually". after that i went to set the table and when it was time to serve...omg..the pasta was back to being hard as a rock in mere seconds as if it was never cooked. it was just sitting there in the sauce. had to throw the entire pot away and it makes me so sad as i NEVER WASTE FOOD! i honestly have no idea as to what could i possibly do with the remaining pack and i really dont want to throw it away. really really disappointed. such disgusting products must be taken off from the pantry instead of fooling customers. really, one of my worst heartbreaking experience.

I don't like giving negative reviews, but being a pasta lover, I can't ignore the fact that such a worthless product is being sold in name of pasta. It has no taste, no nothing. It tastes like cardboard and even streetside pasta tastes better than this. I know that eating healthy is a priority for many, but don't sacrifice your tastebuds for that by buying this.

One would expect quality product from since it is Amazon product but Amazon got wrong on this one. Probably Amazon wanted to pull a fast one on Indian PAsta lovers. Tried this one , The pasta splits and tastes like cardboard. A well prepared meal wasted due to inferior pasta. Hope someone at Amazon incharge of making this actually tastes it first!!!

Big disconnect between product expectation and what really came. It just tasted like moist roti. Not happy.
