Same bottles used for Sea to Summit Wilderness Wash
The bag itself is incredibly lightweight, weighing in at 0.9 ounces (24g). Although it is not air tight, the welded seams and leak resistant zipper should keep any major spills out of your luggage. Another viewer commented that the seams should be sewn instead, but I disagree. As a backpacker, I've had many sewn seams leak over the years, but welded seams don't leak in my experience. When you sew something, you poke holes in it, and even sewn seams that are taped fail over time, which is why seam seal is used for tents. The bottles are hard to see in the picture provided by the manufacturer, because they only show the narrowest side of the bottles. These are the same bottles used by Sea to Summit for their Wilderness Wash and other liquid soaps (3 ounce and 1 ounce), and I would describe them as flat/oval. I have used these bottles numerous times, and have never had a leak, but I also use the included inner inserts with the small hole. As another reviewer noted, they are best suited for viscous fluids like soap, but harder to use with thicker fluids like conditioner. I'm not going to dock a star for this, because I got 6 high quality leak-proof bottles for a reasonable price, and not every bottle is perfect for every purpose.Sea to Summit is quickly becoming one of my favorite companies because they make lightweight, tough products. Although I bought this pouch specifically for airline travel, after discovering it weighs less than an ounce, it is going to replace one of my opaque organizational bags on my next backpacking trip. One tough bag, many purposes.

Quality costs a wee bit more than "sheesh!"
Great kit. Have used this STS product for domestic travel and never had an issue of quality or design failure.Pros: clear, TSA ok, pick and choose configuration, known storage capacities, limited space = choose contents wisely.Cons: for some, the dealbreaker can be price. "My mama told me, you better shop around"

Not terrible but returning
I spent a VERY LONG time looking for an actual 1 quart clear bag for the TSA. I really wanted something I could reuse and that wasn't totally flat like an actual ziplock bag so bottles would fit better and that looked nicer. Every single listing from other brands numerous people said they weren't actually a quart and TSA made them throw out some toiletries. I am NOT dealing with that. Finally found this and considering it's a small plastic bag and some plastic bottles the price was a bit steep but I reached the point where I couldn't hunt anymore. It is indeed a quart or extremely close to a quart - I compared against a 1qt kitchen ziplock.I don't really know much about this material but it's interesting. Thermoplastic Polyurethane / TPU. Extremely lightweight and thin...feels a bit like a thinner more malleable silicon bag. Kind of shockingly thin but people seem to say it holds up.I don't like the bottles. They're the firm plastic kind that doesn't squeeze down that far. They were kind of just a bonus as I use mainly silicon bottles already but have had some weird issues with the silicon ones reacting with soaps so was hoping these would be good but you can't put anything thick in them for sure or it'll get stuck.Someone else mentioned that air escapes if you shut it and squeeze it so it's likely not liquid tight. I tried it- they were correct. Also it didn't really make me more organized or save space. My silicon bottles of another brand don't fit standing up, only horizontally. So is this better than a name brand disposable ziplock bag that IS leakproof and that costs me an additional $0 because I have a whole box already...I don't think it is. I think it's a lot better than most of the crappy clear TSA bags advertised though if you need something that looks a little better and will definitely pass the TSA though.

Perfect travel pouch for toiletries.
This bag is perfect for toiletries when traveling. Meets TSA requirements. Bag is very thin and made of quality materials. Zipper is waterproof and the bag is easy to see inside. Perfect shape to hold TSA size liquids.Only negative is the hard plastic containers. They did not leak but are a little tough to squeeze.

Zipper stuck solid forcing me to destroy bag
The bottles worked okay, but the more viscous fluids did leak from them. No major complaints but I would probably buy lite smith or nalgene mini bottles next time. The real problem was on my second trip with this bag, the small zipper got stuck in the closed position. I couldn’t see anything like damage to the zipper tracks or something blocking it, and I tried repeatedly to pull the zipper open and to jiggle it open to no avail. I ended up having to tear a hole in the bag with a coat hanger (I flew here so didn’t have anything sharp) in order to brush my teeth. Now I have a toiletry bag with a large hole for the rest of my trip.

Beware of big ugly logos
The description and pictures failed to mention that there are big logos on every bottle. I would not have purchased had I known that. I’m hoping these are actually sturdy and leak proof because that is the main thing I was looking for. I will update this post if I’m either disappointed or blown away after the first use. Also, I guess “write on labels” just means you can write directly on the bottles.. I was expecting labels that I would write on but there are none.

I LIKE IT!
I like Sea & Summit. They're one of those quiet outdoor companies that just make badass gear without fuss. (Sierra Designs is another btw) Lightweight, strong, water resistant zip, with strong little loop cutouts. Very nice. I haven't used the bottles but they also seem practical. I bought this for my little vital meds in my backpack, and I'm very pleased with it. I might buy more soon!If you need a little light clear bag to organize bits that might leak or shouldn't get wet, get this! They also make a pack cover that I love.

Does what it says it does
Works very well. Bottles are very high quality. The plastic is a bit thinner feeling than I was hoping for, but is more than capable of performing its duty.
