Fullmetal Alchemist Colonel Roy Mustang Military Uniform Cosplay Costume

I bought this for Denver Comic Con as I wanted to go one day dressed as my Xbox Live avatar which is dressed in this outfit with an Uncle Sam top-hat, and Ray-Ban aviators.For me the medium measurements were dead on, well done. The pants even have belt loops and two elastic sections on the waist for a proper fit. The picture makes this uniform look brighter than it is but I say the actual color is spot on as well. Clean lines and until I saw this type of uniform in person, I never saw how much the top borrows its look from a German WWII panzer tunic. If this used real fasteners instead of Velcro, then it would have the same internal buttons of said tunic. Thought the arms were a little short but the cuffs can be rolled down a little for a better fit. Even though I am not pleased with the holster, the pouch that comes with it looks like the right size for my phone so that kind of offsets the holster. Even though this had to come all the way to the US from East China, it got here within a couple days of ordering it with expedited shipping leaving plenty of time before DCC starting June 30, 2017. Amazon estimated June 26 to July 5 but DHL was all like Das werden wir sehen (We'll see about that). Mustang actually also has some ribbons on his left chest which this costume does not have, however you could probably find better ones that are the right color at some army navy outlets.Now for the bad parts:1) The gloves are cheap. Too small for my hands and the right hand glove was not cut correctly.2) Again I am not happy with the holster. It is cut as if it were to be used as a right-hand hip carry but is worn on the back which makes it a left hand carry as when dong a "small if the back" carry you need the opposing hand holster. As I am right handed this holster does not function as even a prop holster.3) The leather "half-belt" that attaches to the skirt was a little loose and could have been cut about a half inch shorter for a tighter fit.These three things are the only faults I could find but thanks to the over all quality of the costume and to DHL delivering this to my door step with the speed expected of a company hailing from Germany, I am willing to only knock off one star.

This costume is super well made and arrived an entire month early; I bought it for a Riza Hawkeye cosplay.I was nervous on the size, so I went with a medium. The sizing is a little odd, as the pants fit me perfectly (I'm 5'5 150 lbs) but the jacket is pretty big.Highly recommend if you need the military uniform for any future costumes! Just be aware the sizing is a little funny. (I'll be getting the jacket tailored)

Beautiful costume. My daughter absolutely loved it!! Great colors and looks just like the picture!!! The only regret was that it does run a little on the small side so you may want to size up a bit. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars . I had to move the pants button so they would fit.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall, this product it very good. I bought an XL so that the top would fit me, but that did make everything else a little off in proportion and size(mainly the sleeves being too long and wide - the pants being too long I can use to my advantage when blousing my boots). The rank patches are my biggest complaint. They are a little bigger than the shoulders, but still serve their purpose. The belt and the jacket are held together with Velcro, though I did opt to cut off the fake hanging buttons on the belt and the coat flap and install snap buttons to make it more authentic in look, and replace the Velcro with snap buttons as well so it stays together better (the belt so it wouldn't accidentally undo itself and the cost so it wouldn't open every time I stretched.An additional thing: if the sizes on their charts don't fit you, or only one part for you, remember that they have a custom sizing request option available. I only wish I knew this before I bought it.Overall, I think the construction of this and the material used are all of good quality, with only the aesthetics being a little lacking that can be fixed with some work on your own.If you have any questions or comments, shoot them over to me at [email protected], as this is NOT my account, but rather an account I borrow

The product came in clean and useable. There were no tears in the seams or in the thread. I’ve seen some people complaining about a “fish-like” smell from this product, and while it did have a smell, it did not smell fishy or terrible (might just be how they stored it in the warehouse). The smell was easily neutralized by deodorant and some time wearing it, and I never noticed it after an hour.The size was the most difficult thing to interpret. This item comes in with larger measurements. Normally with cosplay I order up one size from my usual T-shirt size, but this time, I had to buy a medium. Even then, the pants and skirt part were wide and I had to make some adjustments using some binder clips to hold it in place. The gloves were way too small, so I never ended up wearing them. I will probably wear this again at another costume party.

None of the "fit" categories work. I am average build, and got the Large size. The pants were just about perfect size, the "pants cover" was too big in the waist and so was the belt. I was able to modify it to fit my waist and then for the belt I just buttoned one side and then use a knife to poke a hole for the other button to give it a snug fit. With that being said, the holster and pouch end up being useless because any weight put in them makes the whole belt droop and not look very good. Also ... no pockets on this costume in any way! Not even pants pockets. Just FYI in case you're a human that might carry anything with you. The top is too small. It's odd how one part is too big and the other too small, but that is just what the quality is that you get. I ended up wearing a white button up shirt underneath and it wasn't all that bad though. Overall, it seemed to work out pretty good for me. Others might have different experiences, but it arrived on very short notice and I was able to work out the issues and not have any other problems pop up during the day.
