Logitech IPad (7th, 8th and 9th Generation) Keyboard Case Slim Folio with Integrated Wireless Keyboard (Graphite)

I’m loving this case so far! It is well designed and seems to be very sturdy so far. The iPad fit in the case and connected perfectly, and the keys are responsive and easy to press.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!For unexplained reasons, the keyboard came back to life the next day. I didn't do anything, it just decided to start working again. ((Maybe it read my review.)If it had come back to life after 3 days, I could nickname it Jesus, but after one day, I'll just call it my keyboard miracle. Everything works great, and I'm very happy with it again. I changed my rating to 5 stars to reflect this.BTW, I purchased a $25.00 backlit model from another manufacturer as a replacement and found it flimsy compared to this model. Not only that, but the keyboard has on it has to repositioned to use it and then put back into place when you're done. The moveable keyboard feature may be a selling point to some, but I found it to be a hassle. UMMV.Disregard the angry screed below.This worked great until it didn't. The last Logitech keyboard I had for my iPad lasted for years and years and years. More than 7. It was still working when I got a new iPad. This keyboard was bought in May of 2022 and died after 21 months. I tested the batteries and they were still at 3 volts each. I put in new batteries and it still didn't work. The box says the product has a 4 year battery life, but that's meaningless if it only lasts 21 months. To make matters worse, the warranty on these used to be 2 years. Now, it's 1 year. Their quality isn't the same as it used to be. This thing has turned into a hundred dollar paperweight and I'm going to have to order a replacement. I am not happy about it and I will NOT get another Logitech.

This case perfectly fits my 9th generation iPad. I really like the keyboard - the keys are spaced well and they don't stick, so typing is very smooth and natural. The case is well made and I feel confident it is going to protect my device. I had a little trouble figuring out the bluetooth connection, but once I figured out what I was doing wrong, it connected immediately. When you go through the setup process, you are given a passcode that has to be entered for the bluetooth connection, however there is no pop up box or field to enter the code into, so it's a bit confusing. You just type the code (you won't see it being entered anywhere) and then you have to hit return on the keyboard (if you don't hit return, it won't work). It took a little googling for me to figure this out but others have experienced this issue so I figured I'd include it in my review in case it helps someone. I'm very happy with my purchase.

UPDATE: My folio was still under warranty. I contacted Logitech and they replaced the unit with an updated product. I have to recommend Logitech’s customer service and company policy. Updated from 3 stars to 4 stars. (Had to keep one star off due to the initial problem.)*****************The folio cover and keyboard work well together, though it does make my iPad on the heavy side. Minimal trade off for the convenience. When dropped on carpet, several keys popped off the keyboard. The keys don’t pop back on, severely minimizing the usefulness of the keyboard cover. For the $$ this costs, I would not recommend it.

I had an iPad 9 for several years with this keyboard / case attached. It protected the pad and the keyboard was awesome! It didn't require a charge and ran on the battery for over 2 years. When it got low, I was able to change it easily. I recently upgraded to a Pro model and went with Apple's keyboard, which I don't like as much as I did this one!

First one lasted a LONG time but this iPad gets super heavy use. Glad to see the same model. Easy set up, comfortable to use. It’s kind of non skid too so you can rest it on your knees.

If you want your keyboard to look like this after 8-12 months, go ahead and buy it. I’ve been a long time Logitech customer, and yes, eventually a key or 2 fall off… these are keyboards not helmets…I don’t expect them to be indestructible. However,it used to take multiple years of hard use before 1-2 keys fell off. I bought this one and 3 months after purchase, the first key fell off- about 4 fell off total in the first 8 months (I was able to press 2 back in). Now, in case you’re wondering, I did not use them for batting practice, as crash dummies, or for frisbee time… they all fell off simply from me shutting the case while sitting on the couch. It’s such a shame as Logitech used to be the go to for quality non-Apple keyboardsI didn’t contact Logitech A. bc the keys happened to be keys I never used (until the return button fell off last night…blech), and I’m a small business owner- I don’t have time and shouldn’t have to spend hours talking to a company bc they decide to make an inferior product as the time would cost me more than the purchase price. B. Their warranty used to be 2 years so I thought I still had time… interestingly enough though, in addition to making cheaper products, they shortened the warranty to 1 year. Shocking, I know.You’d be better off going with apple (if you need the quality) or with a cheaper brand as it will be the same quality or even better as this one.

Definitely like this keyboard a lot. It is battery powered like the little watch batteries or whatever. I'm sure they will last quite a while. And the nice thing is as soon as you put the iPad on top of the keyboard it Powers so it doesn't waste the batteries. The only downfall is there isn't a light on the keyboard. So if you're a good typer and you can see in the dark and it doesn't matter then you're fine!
