CSI TWZR SMD Hot Tweezer Iron Adapter for Soldering Station

Never really got to even try it. Knew as soon as I looked at it that it was waaay too big for what I need to do with it.If you're looking to micro solder, this isn't for you... Apparently, you need the incredibly expensive and difficult to get hold of hakko fm2023 micro tweezers - little else on the market for this purpose except a rare Weller model you'd be lucky to see come available once a year. Then you'll need an equally expensive discontinued 2nd hand hakko fm202 station or a still in production fm203 (for twice the price). Oh, and you'll have to import it because hakko is impossible to get hold of in the UK. How I wish there was a micro tweezers knock off for £40 which'll fit my generic £40 station!However, if you're looking to solder normal sized components, this one certainky looked like it was fit for the task. Clamps nice and tight and has a good ergonomic grip for comfortable use in the hand. Plugged into my generic station no worries and the tips started to heat. Of course didn't do any actual work with it as was returned.
