SpruKits DC Comics New 52 Flash Action Figure Model Kit, Level 1

This is a SpruKits New 52 Flash figure from Bandai. This kit includes 31 parts, three stickers and instructions that allow you to build your own New 52 Flash figure.The instructions are written clearly, with pictures showing the sequence of steps to build specific areas of the body and the whole figure at the end.The sculpt on this figure is amazingly good. The head sculpt is nice, with great definition on the eyes and nose to mouth area, but the wings at the sides of the mask are a bit too thick. There is a lot of muscle definition on the torso, making Flash look more rip than Superman or even Batman. The lighting on the belt is a separate yellow piece, as is the Flash symbol on the chest, which can be colored with a sticker. There is some muscle definition on the arms and legs. The lightning around the forearms is sculpted on the red plastic, but there is a sticker to take care of the yellow lightning. The boots are a separate yellow piece from the knees and thighs. In close examination, you can notice the piping all around the suit, as illustrated for New 52 Flash. Finally, the figure comes with a yellow stand that clips around the left foot.The articulation on this figure is not that great:- Ball jointed head- Swivel shoulders, hinged elbows, swivel wrist and- Swivel hips.The main problem on this figure is that is mainly for display. This is because the figure is made of rigid plastic as many other model building kits. The figure itself is sturdy at the torso and limbs, but the joints will suffer greatly under play. Also, the figure may come appart as the parts are hold together by friction. Of course, this could be remedy with some precisely applied glue. In addition, a little bit of skillfully applied paint would make this figure pop, as paint is needed at least on the eyes. Add a bit of yellow on the piping if you want and you got yourself a great posable mini statue of New 52 Flash.If you want this figure to stand along other 4" figures in your shelf, you can not go wrong. Even without paint, it may put to shame some early figures from Mattel and stand well with some of newer 4" offering of a few years ago. If you want for your kid to put it together, the figure is simple, but a bit more challenging than some Lego. But if your kid puts it together, he may be more appreciative of the figure.

Not what I was expecting description needs more details. My Fire TV remote control is bigger and has more flexibility. A picture of the package would have been better

I couldn't wait to put this on my display shelf. So, i built in a flash and displayed it proudly. It looks great. Also, got one for a gift for a good friend and he loves it.
