Buy this!
Okay so I can't use the suctions on the bottom due to the fact my birdbath replicates barrels so the surface isn't flat. But it floats and we keep it in the middle with rocks. It just keeps on ticking! I love this thing. My bath isn't that big So I can't use any of the extra heads, but since this has worked so well we have decided to buy another birdbath (bigger and able to use the suction cups) and another one of these. Highly recommend this!10/2022I wanted to edit this review just to let you know, THIS THING IS STILL WORKING!. Honestly cant even believe it. It runs constantly and alot of times with out water (its been a lazy year for me) i thought for sure by now this thing after the abuse ive given it, would have quit. So if you were/are at all unsure, let this review be your answer. Impressed!

⚡ SHOCKED ME ⚡
Arrived missing crucial parts needed to perform basic operation:1) Missing the part to connect the pump to the main panel.2) Funny how it says this product has suction cups. I got zero in the box. When testing it in the small bird bath I have to desperately get it to somehow work it gave me a sharp electrical shock (like the hard shocks you get in dry weather when you touch metal objects) and that means it can shock the small birds and other animals too. Hard to imagine a shock like that to their little hearts! What a nightmare this could have been if I didn't know!I did perform a return on this immediately.Amazon offered a returnless refund. Not even Amazon wanted this product back.

Works Right out of the box
This is a great little device. It does not have an on or off switch it just stars working the second sun light hits it. In the shade it will spray intermittently. On a clear sunny day it will go at full blast. It is best if you just let it float around because the suction cups did not work well or would stick uneven. These are hardly issues though. It comes with several different types of tops that changes how the water sprays out.I ended up not using a top on mine because it was spraying the water so high that it was spraying all the water out of the birdbath.I would recommend using it in a fountain (not bird bath) in a spot that gets complete sun for part of the day. Also, check the bottom when the sun goes down to see if any debris is in the intake. I use a cotton swab to clear it.

Marginally impressed with functionality.
The solar fountain is fun in full sun but it doesn’t store energy so it only works marginally if in the shade. Important to have water thats deep as it floats about and sprays water out of the birdbath. The suction cups do not keep it in place. We tried it in our deep pond where it sprayed better than in the shallow birdbath, however it kept getting caught in the skimmer. Fun for the price and good if you have mostly sun and at least 6” of water.

Runs as advertised
The media could not be loaded. Mine runs even on a partial cloudy day(see video). On a cloudy day it bubbles up every 10-15 seconds. I read where people complain about it shooting to high.... Just drill the holes bigger. I think people expect to much from a cheaper solar fountain. my birdbath is 14" across. I just wanted it to make the water move for the birds, not put out a high-rise fire. It works very well. "UPDATE:" The pump quit on June 30th. I soaked it in vinegar water(like for cleaning a coffee pots) and pulled it apart. I scrubbed everything to remove all the calcium buildup. I put it back together and it works like "brand new"

Nice while it worked but it didn’t work for long
Very simple and straightforward product. I went with this brand despite being more expensive because of the return policy, and I erroneously believed this would translate to quality.I live in California, which is key because we have the sunshine to keep this running consistently from morning until the afternoon. I loved it and my local birds loved it. It was really easy to clean, just brushing the pump area with a toothbrush if anything happened to be clogging the area (I would check every night). Unfortunately it broke a day after the return window, so a month’s worth of use. Was it worth it? Not really. I was happy for my birds and this product was very convenient. But I think I will look for a pump with a warranty.

Cute litle fountain device
It came well packaged and works. This device is similar to one I bough many years ago that lasted much longer than I expected. The material looks about the same. I felt I would be lucky if it lasted the year, but that little fountain sprayer surprised me. I think this will last a long time too. It does not anchor in the middle of the fountain which lets water spray out as it bobs around the edges. I put in a little of the stepping stone rocks to help it stay more centered. Don't expect a grand fountain, but for a cute little spray of water that is fun and pleasant.

Was good for less than 5 months. Overpriced. Expect disappointment
The media could not be loaded. Update 11-29-20. I hate o have to do this by the fountain is no longer functional after 5 months. If these are disposable, buy one for 9.99. It just has no longevity.I bought two of the same pump and this one has less power to spray. The nozzles have tiny holes which tend to spray a narrow higher spray. It’s okay for my diy fountain for around the pool but I wish there was a nozzle to give a wider spray. The other company had a better nozzle that gives a fatter more distinct spray. It needs full direct sun or will spurt. I don’t mind that so it was fine. Overall it’s a good value if you want a small spray and solar.
