Comfortable
I have twenty 65 pound boxer brothers that had to get neutered at the same time. The cones the vet provided were huge and cumbersome. They both managed to destroy each other’s cones in a matter of hours.I decided to take a chance with these cones. They have now been wearing them for 3 days. The plastic is pliable, yet strong. The Velcro is the strongest I have ever seen. I purchased the large size, which suits a 65 pound boxer perfect. The edges are covered which is a plus. They seem to be comfortable in them and cannot get to their or each other’s wound sites.

An Actually Amazing Choice
I have a 47lb collie who just got neutered and he WOULD NOT let us put the cone the vet gave us. We tried a donut cone & a different cone from Petsense. The donut was built like trash and didn’t stop him licking and the Petsense cone was too short. This XL cone is the first one that actually works. It’s the perfect length but the size was too big and I feel like the Large size would’ve been too short. I was able to take some Velcro strips I have from my guitar pedalboard and it fits perfectly now. Just trust me get this cone and get some extra Velcro for like $10 so you can make it actually adjustable. Not sure why they don’t cover most of it in Velcro.

Great Recovery Collar, Minor Issue with Packaging
I bought the Supet Dog Cone Collar for my dog after his surgery, and overall, it's been a great product. The collar is adjustable, so it fit my dog perfectly, and he didn’t seem too bothered by it once it was on. It was comfortable enough for him to eat and drink, and it definitely did its job in keeping him from licking his incision site. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it arrived with a slight bend in it, possibly from packaging. It wasn’t a huge issue, though; the collar still worked as intended and did not affect its functionality. After a little adjusting, it was fine, and my dog had no trouble wearing it.It’s made of a soft, flexible material that doesn’t irritate his skin, and it’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus. It also held up really well throughout his recovery process. All in all, it’s a great collar and has been very effective for post-surgery care. Just be aware that the packaging might cause a small bend, but it shouldn’t stop you from using it. I’d still highly recommend it!

Strong Velcro, not made for frenchies
Fit my 26lb frenchie perfectly around the neck but was soooo much longer and wider than her short nose and legs needed so she caught it on EVERYTHING included the ground. She couldn’t even walk without catching it on the floor. Ended up cutting in to be shorter and it’s much better. Velcro holds strong. Wish it was a little softer edge around the neck. Nice thick plastic. So brachiocephalic (short nose) owners may want to find something else.

The BEST cone of shame!
Fantastic for my dog!The vet sent him home with a 3M cone (which was more expensive, more dangerous, less protective, and less comfortable), which my dog cracked within hours, repeatedly, as he kept bumping into things. The crack left jagged, dangerous edgesI ordered this cone as a replacement. Buddy continued bumping into things for the next 12 days, but this cone doesn't shatter! You can see in the images the little white creases where it absorbed the impact instead of shattering into jagged edges. Plus, this cone has soft, comfortable edges, which finally allowed him to sleep comfortably. It's also super easy to put on and take off, which you'll likely do if your dog needs to go up stairs.I can't say enough good things about this!!If your dog will need a cone of shame, get this before the surgery. You're probably going to throw away whatever the vet gives you and end up ordering this anyway.

The most comfortable cone product
This is the 5th cone product I’ve tried and it’s perfect! My dog can see through it so she doesn’t have her peripheral view obstructed. Her neck is 18” and that’s a lot of thick hair I purchased the XL it’s a perfect fit doesn’t slide and it’s not restricting so her neck isn’t overheating, she doesn’t even try to remove it. These are all problems we had with past products. She got used to it very quickly and has very few problems of bumping around tight spaces, she can eat and drink fine. It’s also the perfect length for my dog. I wish I had found it sooner! This is also the only one she doesn’t mind wearing. She hasn’t tried to remove it once and doesn’t seem to mind wearing. In the past she has gone crazy with other cones and rings.

Best cone!
My lab has had two surgeries now for mass cell tumors. The first one he had one of the traditional cones you get a petsmart with the plastic clasps that you slide through the slot and then turn. It was such a pain to put on because he's a wiggler who definitely did not want that thing on, so getting those plastic pieces through the slots was difficult to say the least. I figured with his second surgery I would try finding something different. I was told not to get the donut kind because they don't do anything to prevent licking, so I went on the hunt for a better, traditional cone. Let me tell you. That velcro makes ALL the difference in the world. All it takes is a quick slip around the head and it's on. And this velcro is STRONG. We got the XL for our 78lb lab (it fits perfect, for those who need a size suggestion) and we have to use some muscle to pull it apart. I will say that if you have a dog who is afraid of loud noises, this is probably not the best option for you. The pulling apart of the velcro is loud because of its sturdiness, combine that with how close it is to their ears and it probably won't be a good situation. My dog would try to take on a dinosaur roaring in his face, so the noise didn't bother him at all. The other thing we love about it is that the plastic is really pliable so when he lays down, it molds underneath him so he can lay comfortably, but the top also doesn't flop over and lay on his face. As far as cones go, this is a pretty solid one. 10/10 would recommend and buy again!
