I have used it on multiple plants of different styles. It keeps the soil dry enough for my snake plants but most enough for my ferns.

GREAT product from the always-excellent product line of Miracle Grow! Great if you have a tendency to over or under-water your house plants! I use this for all of my houseplants now, along with another fabulous product from their line, Miracle Grow Water Storage Crytals. Where have these BEEN all of my life?!?

I’ve been using the Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix for my container plants, and overall, it does a good job at helping prevent both over- and under-watering. The soil feels light and retains moisture well, which keeps my plants hydrated longer than regular potting mix.That said, I noticed the drainage isn’t perfect—sometimes water pools a bit if I’m not careful with watering amounts. Still, it’s a solid mix for beginners and container gardeners wanting a bit more control over soil moisture.Would buy again, just would watch watering closely.

This potting soil is good for urns and planter boxes, it works well w/ holding water soil quality acceptable for planters Value was no bargain cheaper at retail stores, conveyance of delivery being disable just made it easier to pay the difference.Fred

I used both bags planting plants with fresh dirt. It's a control potting mix so no over watering. It works great and plants have a fresh start
