TORC Unisex-Adult T14 Mako Full Face Motorcycle Helmet with Graphic (Flag) (Flat Black, X-Small)

Pros: Nice design, quality visor and sunshade, light weight feeling, attractive look.Cons: Sizing runs way too small, quality and design of cloth and pads leaves some to be desired.I really wanted to like this helmet. It has a very nice aesthetic design to it. However, right out of the box, I could feel the inferior quality compared to bigger name brands. The biggest issue is this helmet RUNS SMALL! As many others have commented, the sizing chart is not accurate for this helmet. All of my helmets are XL and my head, measured loosely, is exactly 24" at the bottom of the XL size for this helmet. The XL helmet I received was WAY too tight and felt more like a medium. After wearing it around the house for a few minutes, my jaw began to hurt from how tight it was in the cheek pads.In addition to the poor sizing, the general quality and craftsmanship just isn't there for the padded interior. The material used for the pads is rougher than most other helmets I have had and even the helmet bag it comes in feels like a cheaper cloth than the usual microfiber bags of my other helmets. I felt like the cheek pads were needlessly larger than they should have been which caused considerable discomfort while wearing it. You can visibly see how much larger they are in the photos compared to other brands of helmet.That being said, however, the shell of the helmet is very nice. The main clear visor has a very smooth operation and the flip down sunshade visor feels good quality and slides down smoothly. I enjoy the look of the outer shell and I specifically like the subtle patriotic nature of the american flag to give you something better than just straight black.I was debating about whether to try to get the XXL, but I saw another review that said this was also too small for a person who typically wears XL like myself.Bottom line, it COULD be a nice helmet if it fits your head. You should probably buy it a size or two larger than you usually need. Anyone with a head on the larger end of the spectrum should NOT buy this helmet. Even a typical Large size head may not fit in the XXL version of this helmet.

I never write reviews but in this case I feel the need to. This helmet is literally 2 sizes too small. I have purchased large helmets in the past for dirt bikes and other street bikes. They should actually label this as in youth size and not Adult. So I returned it for an XL and it's not much bigger than the large.

My other helmets are XL and fit pretty well, I got an XXL to make sure this one fit and it was way too small, probably equivalent to a medium or large of my other helmets

Liked the style and fit. The slide clip (for the SUV lenses fold down) on the side was broke when it arrived and I was gonna return, but instead, I fixed it with some super glue and figured it was good enough and the return wasn't worth the hassle anyways.

Really liked the look of the helmet and the price but the sizing was way off followed the measurement chart and even when a size up customer service was great approve my return sad to say I'm gonna go with a different brand now due to time and I don't feel like trying each helmet on till I find one that fit right

for my daughters peace of mind that her dad starts to wear one at least when in the rain. I just need to get more practice in learning how to cinch the thing up, but that is my fault as I have never worn a helmet before.
