This mermaid is gorgeous (Even my husband liked it)! She is a good size and she glitters! I am putting different mermaids on the rock waterfall of our pool, and this one will be the highlight of the rocks!

Im very satisfied. Some edges like her fingers could of been a little sharper and cleaner., but in general im very happy. Also she s two times bigger than I thought she d be., cant complain about that. Thank you!

This was supposed to be a Christmas gift but after looking at it, I’m almost too embarrassed to gift it. First of all, the shell bra is hideously deformed, as are the fingers. Also the arm has some damage as you can see in the pictures. Plus there was glitter on many places that glitter shouldn’t be (like the face) I expected a lot better after looking at other buyers pictures. But the one I received is just plain ugly. Also it’s quite smaller than I was expecting too.

I'm planning on redecorating our bathroom with a mermaid and narwhal theme, and this mermaid statue is perfect for the theme and blue/green color scheme. She is very detailed and well balanced. She isn't going to topple over in a light breeze, but I'm still not going to put her on a shelf where a fall will almost definitely break her. I'm planning on putting the mermaid in a recessed area next to our tub.The mermaid is sturdy, but feels delicate like she could easily break if hit or dropped, so I don't recommend her for areas frequented by rambunctious pets or very small children.4.5 stars

This HONGLAND Mermaid Resin Figurine arrived fairly intact, although there was a bad spot on it around the mermaid's neck on one side that was damaged, and it was apparent someone had tried to patch it up with some weird goo that never dried (almost like a yellow oil that I could not identify). When I touched it trying to figure out what the yellow glob was, I got the goo all over me and chunks of the paint and her neck came off with it - so I have no idea what that was about, other than to assume someone saw this was damaged and attempted (poorly) to fix it in some way hoping it wouldn't be too noticeable. This was not something that got damaged in shipping, as it was securely packaged like that. I wasn't impressed with that, and there were also other little small aberrations all over it, although none were near as bad.That said, the design of this mermaid is absolutely gorgeous, and while I was bummed there was a pretty bad spot on her neck, I am able to turn her slightly to the side where that area is facing the wall, and no one will see it. I also touched her neck up with more resin to seal the crumbling neck from getting further deteriorated. The smaller little "misses" and spots aren't too noticeable at a small distance and weren't as big of a deal as the neck area that crumbled away, but I was still kinda disappointed that the quality wasn't the greatest, as it's bigger and more beautiful on the whole than I was thinking it would be.I love the blue colors on the mermaid, her expression, and the details of her tail and hair flowing upwards as she is blowing a kiss. She shimmers and glitters, and looks perfect on shelves, bathrooms, or anywhere near water. I have her in a room where our aquarium is, and she looks amazing there. It's very whimsical, and the way she is carved is more detailed than I thought she would be - so I was still impressed on the whole. But again - wow, there were enough issues and flaws and literally a chunk of her neck crumbling away that I had to knock off a couple stars for that. If I had been a regular consumer, I probably would have returned it and would have been pretty unhappy, even though she is beautiful on the whole.In the end, just note that while this is gorgeous, there may be some flaws on it. While my review may sound negative, I am hoping the issues on mine were just a fluke and that's not the norm. I don't see any other reviewers having the issues I did, so hopefully mine was just the exception. YMMV.

I have bought other resin statues on Amazon before and they were detailed and beautiful. This monstrosity is BIG and cheap looking with loose glitter and the features are not sharp. The tail was also damaged when it arrived. Not worth the money at all. Returned it...
