MazdaTouch-Up Paint - 0000-92-42M

The color was perfect to touch up a large scratch. Followed instructions and it turned out pretty good. Not perfect, but it beats taking it to the body shop. Pleased with purchase.

Keep in mind I used it in 50-degree weather during a warm day in winter here in the northeast. Because of that keeping, the applicator clear was at times difficult, but it worked well and did the job. I used to repair one door ding down to the primer and many road pebble gouges. I would recommend ordering it when you need it, not before. I would also recommend using it in warmer and dryer climate conditions. Good product easy application.

I took the advice from at least one reviewer and left the paint pen in a warm garage for a couple of days to make the paint flow easier. I also shook the heck out of it prior to application. This resulted in getting the color from the pen not a clear liquid.As others have noted, this is a ball point pen not a brush and the paint applies like a pen...thin lines. That gives you a little more control as opposed to a big blob of paint from a brush, but it applies only a little at a time which is a bit annoying.The crystal blue color seemed a little darker to me and I didn't see the "sparkles" like in my original paint but it did the job. From a distance it looks fine.Envelope arrived a day late and was damaged but pen wasn't damaged.

Exact OEM match. This is real car paint from Mazda. But you should practice on a smooth surface before you try on the car. It take a little finesse.

Very hard to get paint out of pen. Worse, it doesn't match Mazda 42M. It is closer to the old Subaru blue from the 90s - 00s.UPDATE: color is fine. I just didn't shake it hard enough! My bad.
