These aren't secure enough for 1" mount
I wanted to put some highway pegs on my sport tourer, using the SW Motech crash bars as the mount. They are 1" diameter. The clamps on these pegs come with plastic inserts to use for 1" bars presumably. They don't provide enough "grip". I ended up putting some double-sided gorilla glue tape in between the bars and the clamps, as well as in between the clamps and the plastic inserts. I've yet to do a ride test, but just sitting on the bike and going "vroom vroom" the pegs slowly creep from the weight of my feet resting on top of them. I will likely have to figure out something else to keep these from moving.

Great pegs, and could have been a 5!
I ordered these "blind" because there hadn't been any reviews yet. I'm glad I did! These appear to be well constructed, heavier than I anticipated, and for a very fair price compared to the name brands out there. Let's face it, when you order something that is made in China, you never know what you might get! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to friends, family and neighbors. There are a several, relatively minor reasons I didn't rate them a 5, and will explain it here.1) No instructions. Though relatively simple to figure out, some basic instructions would have helped. The pegs came mostly disassembled, with the foot pegs in one box and all the mounts and mounting hardware in another.2) The actual length of the foot peg itself is a full inch shorter than indicated in the product description. Now, I would normally assume the length would be the foot peg plus the mount, however I questioned the seller on their Dually mount and was told the actual foot peg (where your foot sets) was "as the description displays". So it follows logic that the same answer would apply to these... NOT. Not a deal breaker by any means, but not accurate. The pegs are fine at 4 5/8" vs the 5 3/4" indicated, but if the same holds true for the Dually pegs, they're only going to be about 3 1/2" in length!3) The design that holds the pegs in the upright position could be better. It relies on friction (and a wobble washer) to hold them up. I think this might be a problem area as the pegs wear. A spring loaded ball bearing would have been better. Most likely this is easily remedied should it happen to become a problem.4) There are 2 mystery chrome plastic caps provided that don't appear to go anywhere, and a provided hex wrench that doesn't fit any of the disassembled parts and is not needed for installation. Not sure why either of those are in the box.5) On my 1 1/4" engine guard there is no need of the provided plastic spacers (for 1" guards) for installation, but it would have been nice if something was provided to protect the finish on my guards. I used black electrician's tape to do the job.The pro's are few but important ones:1) These seem to be very sturdy and I doubt there will be any problem with these slipping on the guards.2) The finish is excellent, though a little black touch up will be needed on the bolts and nuts as your tools will scratch them during installation.3) These look really good!

Nice addition to Africa Twin for highway cruising.
Great set of adjustable foot pegs.Only issue is the small hex screws that might get stripped if tightened to hard.Mounted them on 2017 Africa twin dct with alt rider lower crash bars. 1.25 " is true tube size. Also comes with plastic sleeves for 1" tubes.Very comfortable option for longer rides.

Not enough clamping force to prevent rotation on 1” bars.
Really hoped these pegs would work to give me some long distance highway relief. Unfortunately, these do not clamp on 1” bars from Wunderlich very well. I can’t move the pegs with my hands once tight but these pegs rotate very easily under the weight of my feet. They rotated in the way of my shifter even which is why I’m taking these off.I would try to return these pegs and get my hard earned money back but the finish on these pegs is very thin and scratched almost every time I touched them during install.Oh well. $70 down the drain.

Solid Addition to my Sport Tourer
Bought these to add forward leg-stretch to my Kawasaki Concours canyon bars. The mounts are solid and the pegs are pretty beefy and look good. I never flip them up so the washer mechanism is not an issue, but if I did I would have wanted something that clicked up and down, like the bike's original pegs. Not an issue for me, but maybe for some. The rubber is thick and grips pretty good. Overall, a good product.

Not impressed.
Finish is very poor. The black wore off just buy putting them on. Also, some bolts rounded out while installing. They are visually appealing, until they look wore out just from installing. Very disappointed.

Missing pegs....twice
Ordered a set of these for my africa twin. Came without pegs. Filed for a replacement and the replacement was also missing the pegs.

just what I was looking for.
The only thing I can say negative is that you really have to get the brackets over tight so they don't slip but you can. Really nice pegs.
