Lasted 7 months and then died.
While it lasted this was a good product. It worked really well. But I couldn’t recommend it. It only lasted 8 months of quite light usage. It then simply died.

Slow to charge but easy to use
As others have said, it's slow to charge, and doesn't seem to respond to a quick "boost" when you're in a hurry for a trim that won't take more than a minute or so. Shame there's no switch to divert power from the charger direct to the motor, rather than into the battery. But it is so much easier to use and more versatile than the trimmer I have been using that for me, it is worth the wait. The attachments slide on and off with a positive feel and don't feel like they are going to snap off the plastic tabs that hold them on which was the trouble with the old trimmer - not a Braun. It was always a struggle to get them on and off, sometimes ending with painful jabs of the cutters into a finger or three, and not good if the thing responded to an accidental touch on the small on/off-switch at the same time! The Braun is so much safer in this respect. All I have to do now is make my brain coordinate with my arthritic hands and learn how to point the thing in the right direction when trying to reach things with my left hand which can't be reached with the right.I simply can't understand the complaints here about the plug not fitting. The trimmer charger uses a standard razor plug, as do all bathroom-safe mains powered personal appliances. Every electric shaver I have had for the last 50 years of whatever brand has used the same two pin plug. To use it in a standard UK socket you need a fused shaver adapter (several available on Amazon), but a properly equipped bathroom should come with one built into the wall or a light fighting near the mirror. All hotels have them. The pin size and spacing is not the same as the old British domestic two pin plug used for lights and so in times gone by. Shaver sockets are different, for safety reasons.

Very Happy
Very happy with this product. No hair pulling (unlike product I bought before this, which was returned.) lightweight, and just easy to get your hair or beard done.I used to shave with basic BIC razor and this gadget reminds me of it. Very safe, seems almost impossible to cut yourself, and I can use it eraser style, carelessly flicking it around.I don't know how long it will last, but unless it dies in first 6 months, I will get my moneys worth.Battery life don't seem great, but that's not relevant to me, just charge it after every use. Maybe it can be used and charged at the same time, I don't know.

Braun Rechargeable Trimmer: A Once-Promising Fader
I bought this Braun rechargeable trimmer with high hopes three years ago. Used once a month for hair touch-ups for my sons, it initially seemed like a great purchase. However, time hasn't been kind to the battery life.**Strong Start, Sputtering Finish**Let me start with the positives. The trimmer itself functioned well for the first year or so. It felt comfortable to hold, offered precise trimming with the adjustable settings, and the motor ran smoothly.**Battery Betrayal**Unfortunately, the battery life is the product's Achilles' heel. It used to last the entire hair trimming session, but over the past two years, it's gotten progressively worse. Now, a single charge can barely get me halfway through a haircut, forcing me to scramble for my old corded trimmer to finish the job.**Frustrating Inconsistency**The inconsistency is the most annoying part. There's no warning when the battery is about to die. It can sputter out mid-trim, leaving you with an uneven mess. This is particularly frustrating when dealing with intricate details like around the ears or neckline.**Going Wired Again**While the trimmer itself is decent, the unreliable battery life makes it a gamble every time I use it. For the sake of maintaining a consistent trim, I've mostly resorted to using my old corded trimmer again, which defeats the purpose of having a rechargeable option.**Recommendation: Buyer Beware**If you're looking for a cordless trimmer for occasional use, this Braun might work initially. But for those who need a reliable battery life for regular trimming, I recommend looking for models with better battery performance or sticking to a corded option altogether.

Shaver will not turn on after one month of usage
I have used the shaver for about a month. Now it product won’t turn on. I have charged it with the green light showing on the charging plug, however the shaver itself won’t work when I turn it on. I have charged it for many hours and still no success.

Great, but it must be charged beforehand...and comes with an EU plug only...
I cut my own hair and beard, so I buy one of the cheapest haircutters I can find, and, as long as I get 2/3 cuts ouf of them, I save money, barbers are expensive these days and there’s no point paying £10 plus for a grade 1 or 2 buzzcut all over my head - no skill needed here! This is, as all of them do, a very powerful, clean cut fresh out of the box, this tends to wimper down as the battery dies a slow, painful death but, so far, so good. There’s a great array of good quality plastic grade things and even a specific cover for hair cutting, the beard trim covers tend to clog with a lot of hair as I found out...Loses one star as it’s only got an EU plug, which isn’t the end of the world if you have a UK converter like I do, but is something you should be aware of. Crucially, and a bit of a downer, you must ensure you charge it WELL BEFORE cutting your hair, as you can’t use it while it’s plugged in and charging and if the charge dies mid haircut...yeah, you’re up the creek without a charge!
