Easy to use, lots of pluses, recommended!

(I sent an email suggesting that this be included in future models and received a prompt email in response explaining that this option had been considered, but due to increased $20 cost to consumer for inclusion of adapter and desire to make the unit affordable for more customers, a decision was made to omit the adapter. This makes sense from a business perspective, so I only note this here for folks who may want to purchase a 110V to 12V adapter for use at home; 24V not supported).Diagram in instruction manual showing where AC/DC power outlet is located if not where current power connection is located (embodied within storage cavity). This is not clear from the very nice manual.Notes:I have not used this compressor to inflate/deflate items such as air rafts, air mattresses, etc., but I expect it to work as well for those purposes as it does for tire pressure purposes. You must allow the unit to cool after 12 consecutive minutes of operation. I cannot imagine that you would ever need to operate the unit for that long unless you are inflating an air mattress, but thought I would share this information in the event that it is useful to someone.Per manual:Voltage: DC 12V onlyPower: 120WRequired Current: 10-15 AmpsCable length: 11.5 feet/3.5MTube length: 2.36 feet/0.72MMax. Well designed and has everything you need.
I am an engineer who is very particular about what I want from products such as these. When I was looking through all the choices for portable air compressors, I was able to narrow the list down if they didn't have all the features I wanted:1. Must have a handle for easy portability.2. Must have a light in case the inflator had to be used at night.3. The display and various buttons must be user-friendly and with a logical layout.4. A variety of nozzle adapters must be provided to be able to inflate just about everything the average person would need inflating.5. A carrying bag/case must be provided for easy storage of the unit (e.g., in the trunk of a car).6. An automatic shutoff must be provided when the desired inflation pressure is reached so that the user doesn't have to be closely monitoring the display at all times and then have to manually shut the unit off at the right time. This product has all those features, so making the choice to buy it wasn't that difficult when other products could be ruled out for not meeting all the above criteria. But meeting that criteria means nothing if it didn't perform well. I tested it on my vehicle's tires by deflating a few by about 10 psi and then re-inflating them with this device. The result? The tires inflated reasonably fast and the unit shut off at the desired pressure as it should.Given the above, I would highly recommend this product.

Great little air pump
The only thing I didn't really like so far is that the extra hose came with a bad kink in it and the included extra fuses have no place so they fall right out (so store them in the bag.) The bag is nice. I hooked it up immediately to pump up my wheelbarrow tire but didn't set psi. It still shut off automatically at the right pressure. I love it!

Robust and works fast!
Exceeded my expectations!I just did a test by deflating my truck tire to 20 psi. Set unit for 55 and let it go. 12 minutes to get up to pressure is fast! The pump never seemed to labor and when done I picked it up and it was barely warm. Note also it is 90 degrees out today.Checked the pressure and my gauge read 56.7. Honestly I don’t know which is accurate but that’s within reasonable accuracy anyway.I had originally bought the single motor but then realized they sold a dual motor unit. Folks for $8 more get the dual motor! The only con I can say if that is the cord could be a bit longer. I could barely reach the rear passenger tire. Granted the valve stem was on the far side so I could have moved the vehicle a couple feet to rotate the stem closer but just add another foot to the cord please. My vehicle is a Ford Transit T250. I’m sure an extended bed pickup would have problems. But for 99% of the people this is fine as is.Anyway I don’t rewrite a lot of reviews but I was so happy with this purchase, here I am!A++
