The kids loved using these, good telescopic range without being flimsy. Lots of lovely toasted marshmallows.

I have just purchased our 5th pack of these toasting forks because we love them so much we've gifted them to friends (and I thought it was time to write a review). To be fair, we only really use them for marshmallows, although we've also used them for hotdog sausages (with variable results because it was children cooking). If anything, I would say I'd like them a little longer just so that you're not so close to the fire (we were using 2.5m bamboo canes before, so that's my "yardstick" for a good length). We keep our family pack in the car cubbyhole (we have a lot of bonfires :) ). We love the vibrant colours, and each member of our family has their own fork and is very possessive over it. We've used our pack LOADS of times - we've had the forks well over a year now - and none of them are broken, or showing any sign of breaking. We're also careful about keeping the red stoppers safe in the bag when we use them, so they still have all their stoppers. We're careful to wash and dry them after every use before collapsing them so that moisture doesn't get trapped within them. I like them because the metal is fairly quick to cool. So if you make the mistake of putting them in your mouth fairly soon after pulling them out of the fire (and I've done this as an adult), then they are extremely unlikely to cause a blister on your mouth and lips. Note, this is not to say you don't have to be vigilant because it's still hot immediately after pulling them out of the fire, but it does mean I don't have to freak out every time my seven year old roasts a marshmallow. For this very reason, we've bought these as fun gifts for camping-minded families, and they are similarly thrilled with this product.

Great product especially for children as they can be lengthened for safety around the fire.

I've not used these as they were a gift, but they look nice and well presented in a bag, they feel quite sturdy and secure, even when extended to full length and I'm sure my friend will be able to toast giant marshmallows with them and not lose any to the fire. Thanks to the double prong, you can get a nice even toasting when rotating them, as the food item on the end won't spin like they would on a single prong.

These are ok for two marshmallows, but if you try to do hotdogs the shape is all wrong and it breaks the hotdog's open. Straight forks instead of on a slant would work better. A few broke already.

Really nice, sturdy design, great extending length and good grip on the handle, kids were well happy they could toast 2 marshmallows at a time!
