Does what it needs to do but doesnt work well for case users
Hands on review The JETech Wireless charger is small in design. in fact it is small enough to fit in the palm of my had with no problem BUT...Larger phones will have problem fitting on it as you will have to eventually try and find the "sweet spot" to get your phone to charge. it is red/black/white and as far as i know there are no other color variants of this wireless charger and that sucks. Even when first taking it out of the box i immediately thought i wish i could get this in green/black with white lettering and/or green/white with black lettering. I did not see any option for color variants but i order this on the mobile Amazon app so If i'm wrong let me know! It has a clear hard plastic piece surrounding the wireless charging pad. Outlining the charging pad there is a rubber grip that is suppose to stop you phone from sliding or moving. My experience with the rubber grip is that my phone, the Samsung Galaxy S8+, has a tendancy to move often when bumped or even when swiping while it is on the charging pad. Now i will cut JETech some slack as i may be alittle heavy handed while using my phone while its on the charging pad and also all this happens when i dont have a case on my phone. With that fresh in mind i then asked myself what happens when i have a case on? Me being the guy that I am i used my Otter box commuter's Case... What? I want maximum protection for my phone... i mean i had to pay like $800 for my phone! I'm not going to walk around with my phone all butter ball like 😂. So after putting the Otter Box Commuter's case on the phone did not move as much as the commuter's case has an rubber/silicone outer shell. the main problem that i had then is that the wireless charging would not activate as accurately as it did without the case. This could easily be fix by adding more of the rubber grip i mean for goodness sake you have about an inch or so t work with if you just replace the clear hard plastic with rubber gripping and if not that then get rid of the clear hard plastic all together and make the wireless charging pad larger with a stronger wireless charging signal and more rubber gripping. Another thing that i stumbled upon while using this wireless charger is that it tends to get hot when using it. I came across this when i picked up my phone off the wireless charger and the back of the phone was warm. this could be from the charging pad not having enough air to ventilate the heat. i am not sure if this happens with all the other wireless chargers but it worries me alittle that it could possibly overheat my phone when its not in the case or wear down my case because of the heat. i am not sure if this will cause a problem but it is certainly worrysome. Im probably being petty here but being that there is no options for color variation i kinda wish that they would have at least gave a device variant that is fast charge capable. on that point JETech would be able to charge more and buyer would have some sort of customization option for the product.Final ThoughtsAfter finding everything that found while using this wireless charger i would have to say that this wireless charger would be better suited for someone who just wants a wireless charger. Nothing to fancy and something that is as simple as laying down your phone and letting it charge. I can tell you how many times i laid down my phone and had to re-adjust my phone because it is so large and with the case it just would not charge. I dont want to have to compromise the protection of my phone by getting a slimer case or take off my case every night just to lay my phone on a wireless charger that gets hot while in use because honestly i dont want to have to worry about replacing my phone because the battery got to hot. it is an inconvenience that i shouldnt have to deal with. Now i am not going to say that this wireless charger doesnt do what it suppose to do but i just feel that there is alot of things that can be fix and improved upon to make an OK product a better product. For that reason i am giving the JETech Wireless Charger a 2.5 out of 5✯

It could be a little bit more powerful
I used it but the charging capability seems to be a little bit slower than I would like.

The Good, the Bad, and the not Ugly
I want to like this product. It has it's good points, bad points, but not really any ugly ones. It is nice looking, and I like the glow indicator that it is charging (usually it does, more on that later). I have a Motorola DROID Turbo (1st gen). I have 2 of these charger pads and they are convenient, and I like them to a point, but they have been a little frustrating. The charging level is a bit weak. about half the time I place my phone on the pad, the blue light comes on and then goes off and no charging is happening, so I pick the phone up and lower it slowly and usually then it will light up, stay lit up, and the charging symbol shows up. About 2 out of 10 times when I put it down on the pad, the blue light comes on and stays on but it isn't charging (deceptive, don't like that at all!). Of the 5 out of 10 times it does start charging the first time I put it on the pad, about 2 or 3 of those times I get a tone and a short lived screen pops up saying it is charging. The other 2 or 3 times there is no tone and some of those times the screen pops up to say charging and sometimes not. So, the operation and success of charging is very sporadic. Still, it is handy, and I am glad to have them. I only wish I had ones that were more consistent. By the way, I am NOT using a case right now, and I'm afraid that might make it even worse...I don't know that, but I fear that. However, I also fear shrubbery.

Functional but Finicky.
I have owned at least 10 different models of chi chargers over the years. This one is middle of the road but not too bad. The red light shown on the actual pad is used to tell if it has power coming to it. Once you place your device on it (and get it centered exactly right), the whole glass portion will glow blue to show you that the device is charging. This is the coolest part.Getting the device lined up, however, is the tricky part. This thing has a very small and narrow charging pad. You have to pretty much center the charging pad on your phone directly on the center. If you use an aftermarket pad, you may have to find the sweet spot and that may not be with the device evenly placed on the pad. All in all, this works well once you get it lined up but not the easiest to use. The worst part is that once you line your phone up, if it moves, even a hair, it can stop charging but the light won't go out to signify it for sometimes a minute or two. So basically, you place it on the dock, move it til the light comes on, and then leave the room. When you come back (sometimes an hour later) expecting your phone to be charged, the light is off and your phone is still dead.If you use an OEM wireless charging pad, back, or built in to your device then this should work fine and you can't beat the price. However, if you use an aftermarket sticker or charging back, i would look elsewhere.

Brilliant purchase!
This charger is an excellent purchase for anyone looking for this type of item!I bought this because the charging port on my nexus 7 had broken and it would cost a lot of money to fix, therefore this is very useful for me and saved me a lot of money!Firstly, the customer service from this company is excellent! The package arrived the next day with my standard delivery (*not guaranteed for everyone*) which was very impressive. Therefore, this order was 3 days earlier than the expected delivery. Also, I was sent an email from the company itself after receiving the package telling me that if I had ANY concerns, I could sent an email back and they would respond asap. They also said that my 100% satisfaction is guaranteed which is very nice to hear, considering how some other companies can be with their enquiries. A* for customer service! The actual dock itself is very thin, making it easy for travel and storage. You can tell that the design has been well thought out! The quality of the material is rather impressive too as it doesn't feel cheap at all!On the bottom of the charger, there are 5 small, rubberised "feet" that are very efficient and effective. They stop the charger from sliding around extremely well and are not too large so that they allow the charger to rest pretty close to the ground! Although there are none of these on the top, I don't feel that the charger needs them as my tablet doesn't move at all when in place. Finally, this charges my nexus 7 as a reasonable speed, considering the large battery it contains. When I first charged my device with this, it took around 4 hours to fully charge. This is very good as my tablet has no charge in at the beginning and has a large battery, meaning that it would be considerably faster for a phone or smaller tablet. I am very pleased with this.Overall, this wireless charger is very efficient and is a bargain at the price it's at now! I recommend this to anyone searching for this type of item and

Works great, but light is AWFUL for when you want to sleep.
This thing works great! I haven't gotten over how cool it is that I can just plop my phone down on this thing and have it charge. My phone is a Motorola Droid Maxx, and while it used to heat up quite a bit while charging on the cord, it hasn't done anything like that on this charger. I bought this in the first place because the USB port was getting wiggly, and I hadn't wanted to end up completely breaking it. Problem solved! My one problem with this is that the blue light, while it looks really cool when you're awake, is OBNOXIOUS. I'm usually pretty good at sleeping with some things lit up here and there (which is why I went against advice and ordered it), but this blue light is EXTREMELY bright (particularly if at level with your face), and it's constantly (purposefully, by design) oscillating between brighter and dimmer at a relatively fast rate. As I have to sleep with my phone nearby on the bedside table, I ended up having to cover up the sides of the charger to keep the blue light from either blinding me or keeping me up all night watching the wavering brightness. So the charger works great (have found no problems at all, and it does shut off when the phone is fully charged), but do reconsider if you plan on sleeping with this thing anywhere nearby.

The blue LEDs
I bought this charger for overnight charging so i can simply drop the phone on and pick it up next morning without having to mess around with wires.Wireless charging isnt as fast as wired but its what i was expecting and what i wanted was overnight charging anyway. It only comes with a usb cable and no usb power supply. I had an old Samsung one that i can use for this BUT i also tried the Samsung adaptative fast charger (5v 2A) supplied with my S6 phone and it did not work. I guess the fast charger cannot detect a phone so it wont power up the wireless charger (5v 2A max input). The build quality is pretty good. Design wise pretty good looking too. The translucide plastic surrounding the charging area makes the unit blend more on the suface it sits on. The red line on top is rubber and it also has decent rubber pads under giving good stability.Where to me the wireless JETtech charger lost 2 stars is on the LEDs. It has 5 blue LEDs positionned at aprox. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 o-clock facing into the translucent plastic part. When the phone charges, they fade in/fade out every 4-5 seconds on almost 360° around it. To me having a blue light pulsing on the other side of the bedroom is mildly annoying in the dark but to my wife this is a no go.Since this would make my original plan for the charger obsolete, i had 2 options. 1) throw it in the old electronics bin after a single day of use or 2) crack it open and fix the issue. So 5 little pieces of electrical tape gave the wireless charger the opportunity to sleep in the same room as my wife.Maybe a switch to disable the lights or a simple discreet led to show the charge status would be a good option. I would 5 star this wireless charger if my main goal wasnt '' the bedroom overnight charging''. Had to open it and modify it to suit my needs.

Fantastic product! Convenient way to keep phone charged and ready for use
I've been using the JETech Wireless Charger for about a month now and I have to say I absolutely love using this product. It's incredibly convenient to use - I have it on my desk so when I'm not using my phone, I can easily charge it so it's ready for use when I'm on the go. At first, I used to unplug the device, more due to wariness of leaving it plugged all the time than for energy waste (in doing some research, I found the amount of energy loss to be extremely negligible so for green-minded people, you don't have to worry about leaving it plugged in). Now I leave it plugged in so it's always ready to charge my phone.I've tested charging my Samsung S6 with this wireless charger using two cases to see if it could charge - one a slim case, the other more of a bulky, thicker, protective type. In both cases, the wireless charger was easily able to charge my phone. It's also not very finicky about how you place your phone on it. It does rarely happen where I put the phone on and it doesn't light up letting me know if it's charging. A simple lifting the phone up and putting it back on the charger gets the charging process going. The charging time is pretty good - it's not super fast as wireless charging technology has its limits. But if you leave it for 15-20 minutes, you get a very good charge rate on your phone (I've never had to leave it on for more than an hour to get charged up).The blue LED light itself is not very bright so it's not distracting in the least - at least in a well-lit room. For those who want to put it in their bedroom, you might have to place it somewhere outside your field of view as it can create a blue halo on the surface it's resting.Overall, a great product that not only does the job very well (since getting it, I have yet to charge my phone using the phone charger), but it's also very aesthetically nice. Definitely would recommend this product to family and friends.N
