Greenlans Women Striped Ethnic Knitting Wool Footless Leg Warmers Knee High Boot Socks

Soft, pretty and comfortable legwarmers
I took a bit of a chance with these, fearing they would be too tight as I have rather fat legs from water retention and an old injury but they fit just right. They are ribbed and quite stretchy. One end is tighter than the other so there is a definite foot end and calf end. The material is very soft. These are not a chunky knit but they are thick enough -thicker than socks - more like a boot sock. Approx measurements: unstretched laid flat: 47cm long, 10cm across. Stretched as much as possible: foot end is 16cm across, calf end is 20 cm across.I can't wear socks as (a) they are too tight, and (b) I have sore toes, so these are perfect for me, giving just a little support and keeping my legs warm. I got the purple/pink ones and the colour was as in the picture - very pretty. I will be buying more.

Nothing like as nice as advertised
I ordered these weeks ago, attracted by the colours and the lovely, fairisle-type pattern shown. They arrived today. "Ooo! My leg warmers!" I thought. I was so disappointed when I opeend the parcel to find that the item sent bore no resemblace to the picture. It's possible that I'd have had better luck with a different seller. Mine came from Heetey. It's too much hassle to send them back for the sake of £6.99 -and at least they weren't mis-described as Cornish and handmade (which exactly the same ones were on another website), but if you don't want to be similarly disappointed, don't be fooled by the picture. The item advertised is shown in the first picture, and what I actually received in the second.

Women's leg warmer's eh? Don't you worry now, gentlemen. They fit us just fine, too!
I have always suffered with cold feet, particularly when at home and fairly sedentary. It was made even worse when I began to notice that regular socks revealed that I was also suffering from water retention in the lower limb, since when, I have taken to wearing trainer socks that only come over the heel (and usually slip beneath the sole). Having tried loose welly socks (which took up too much space in my shoes) and compression socks (which just pushed the swelling up to my knee) I was beginning to despair over my cold feet, or rather, my wife was! And then I thought of legwarmers ... ding! My order was in in no time. They took a little time to arrive but I swear by them now. These particular ones are nice and woolly and quite thick but now I have just the thinner end inside my shoe, which I actually wrap beneath my heel, my feet are not cramped at all. They also fit invisibly on my trousered leg too so if I feel like using them for trips out, it is no problem. Now, I and both feet are happy - sorted!

Love love buy them!
I Love these! Everyone asks where I got them from and I share this link. Took a while to turn up but worth the wait. They are perfect. Warm, soft, I can wear them to my knees or ankles. Fit is just right. And no matter how many times I wash them they come out the same. Just In Love will buy more.

A long wait but they are nice
Amazon told me these would arrive within a day or two and I thought there was a problem when nothing arrived. However they were shipped from China and took 3 weeks to come. Now they are finally here I am very pleased, they are lovely and soft and warm. They are a little on the small size but go fine over leggings which is what I wanted them for. I just wish I had been given an accurate delivery time at the beginning.

Cosy & pretty
Look just like in pic, comfortable, fit well on me (UK sz12), over leggings or skinny jeans. Maybe bit scratchy for wearing direct on skin, but i'm fussy with textures, not washed yet either. Bought blue pair & wine red pair, like them both, colours are gorgeous. Much-welcome added warmth for cold days, & pad out under wellies too, stop them slipping about.

80's throwback
Warm, thick and unusually patterned. Well worth the money. All the others I brought were so thin and didn't have the length of these. Recommend........however, my friends take the mickey but I think they'd do that regardless of what the leg warmers looked like, and I don't get draughts round my ankles and have the skin of a rhino so really don't care :-)

ok but not very big
my wife is small and petite and these don't easily go to the knee because there isn't much stretch and they are small. they do work for the reason a bought them, but unless you are a size zero / anorexic then don't expect them to go to the knee as per the description.
