Amazing Vacuum
I just received mine. Easy assembly from the box. You simply snap on handle, couple attachments and wind up the cord. Ready to go. Powerful suction. I ran it over my carpet that I had just done with my old vacuum and it picked up even more. I have cats, and didn't even know that hair was still on the carpet. It pulls the throw rugs up from the floor it has that much power. Bare floors, you can put your broom away. Furniture brush works great and now I get get those cobwebs up in the corners. Light weight and easy storage. This one gets five stars from me.

Works well
My previous vacuum was by a very popular brand, and it was expensive. It had every feature that you could imagine and worked as an upright, canister, and handheld unit. I had it for years and hated it. Why? Because it was very heavy, unwieldy, and bulky. None of the accessories were mounted on the unit, so I never used them. It was so "sophisticated" that it had its own computer board to operate the beater brush. That was what finally did it, and I was glad. This machine is much simpler and significantly less expensive. It is lighter by a mile. All of the accessories mount on it, which is a huge plus, and it is just as powerful as the former premium unit. The cord is slightly shorter than my old vacuum, and that vacuum would turn off the beater brush when the handle was upright. I really did like that feature, but it is also what broke and turned my last vacuum into trash, so I'll live without it. I have to be honest, I'm tired of "advancement" that makes simple devices more complicated and more prone to failure. This is a basic vacuum. What does it do? It vacuums, and that is just what I need it to do.

Eureka PowerSpeed Upright Vacuum
Purchased Vacuum as replacement for SHARK. EUREKA is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The suction is great and cleans well. Plenty of accessories, I especially like the pet hair tool. The cord could be a bit longer; I need to change plugs for my family room to get the entire room. The canister is large, but not so easy to empty. The plastic clip does not always align with the tab. The vacuum is powerful and works very well. The vacuum is worth the price. My only issue is that to empty the container and refit the filter and catch bin is a bit of a puzzle and it does not always fit together well.

Amazing Vacuum!
After going through two poor-quality vacuums, I can finally say I got it right with this Eureka vacuum. The difference is night and day. It has strong suction, glides easily, and actually picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair instead of just pushing it around. It feels well-made and powerful without being heavy or awkward to use. Cleaning no longer feels like a chore because this vacuum actually does what it’s supposed to do. I only wish I had purchased this one sooner—highly recommend to anyone tired of wasting money on vacuums that don’t perform.

Modern Joy!
Luv everything about. The functionality. The weight. The cost. The ease of use. The accessories... For a one bedroom apartment with a dog, this vacuum is perfect. Converts from carpeted bedroom to hard wood floors, to area rugs, to furniture perfectly. Long cord, no bags to refill, just a ex large hard plastic container that sucks up more than I knew was needed to be sucked up. Got it on sale for $75 bucks and love the purchase. Eureka indeed!

Great value
Easy to put together and works very well. It was satisfying to see how much dirt, hair and dust it picked up across my carpet in bedrooms and tile floors. Not too heavy for easy use.. it’s loud but it doesn’t bother me. I’m only commenting on the noise because I see people asking. Can’t beat the price if you’re looking for a powerful but inexpensive vacuum. I’m excited to use the extension for my couch, mattress and curtains!

Power okay - but tool use not easy at all (& does not use universal attachments/tubes)
i just got this yesterday & have used it a lot over that time period, but only on thick carpet. here's my thoughts so far (which i may change later on): * has good enough suction i guess, but hard to know if i should really use on the last setting or the one before that. i still had to use in conjunction with a silicone carpet rake to lift the fibers up in high traffic areas (which are everywhere in my small house). it makes for a very difficult & tedious process. * when i’d inquired, i was told it would work with my older eureka vacuum attachments/tubes (which was important to me after reading about the difficulty in using the attachments). this isn’t true - of course a corporation would not have you combining tools to make things easier. * using the turbo brush attachment (which was one of the reasons i got this vacuum) on my stairs was not ideal in the least. it took a ton of hard work, switching positions constantly. the vacuum does NOT fit on stairs & was constantly falling down - since the extension tube is actually REALLY short! i wanted something easy after spending years getting cat hair off stairs with a cheap little tool i’d gotten on T. i didn’t feel i gained that much doing it the 'new' way. * as expected i guess, the 'bagless' area (which i don’t mind since it's what i had with my old boss pro, which gave up recently, sadly) gets extremely dirty right away - everywhere. you have to clean inside/outside (including area where you open to empty it), & it's not an easy chore considering both portions of the bottom/lid get equally dirty. i haven’t even checked top portion, but i expect that to be somewhat of a mess also. (note: i had vacuumed about a week ago, not that i expect the old vacuum to work as well as any newer one) * if you have a lack of space & maybe also strength, don’t believe that this vacuum is very small and/or light. i guess it's average for a regular vacuum (not be be compared with huge heavy duty kinds i’m sure). remember what i said about it wanting to fall down the stairs while trying to vacuum those. [my old eureka pro vacuum was actually very light, had a small head portion, & the top handle part folded down. i already miss that one, but didn’t see anything comparable - i can’t use a stick vacuum due to thick carpet. back in the 'good old days', people used to be able to respond to reviews, which was way more helpful than the way it is now. you need a back & forth capability so people can give advice & you can ask questions or give more info - not possible even in the 'question' area.]

Good value for what it is
Not a bad little vacuum cleaner if you are in a rental. Easy to put together, lightweight with good suction. It will keep the carpets clean enough to get your deposit back and the price is reasonable. Save your money on a Shark or Dyson until you get your own home
