Good set of lifting hooks at a good price
This probably is my 5th or 6th pair (I'm 71). I have developed severe peripheral neuropathy and have had to have screws inserted into most of my finger joints, so I can't grip a D-handle, dumbbell, etc. These hooks allow me to do some weight training I otherwise couldn't. It's a standard design, well made. My one criticism is that I have long arms and fingers (why my parents forced me to play the accordion LOL). Therefore the hook stops short of where I really need it, but I haven't a brand made for my hands,

I can pull heavy again thanks to reversed hooks (big grip)!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered the reversed hooks, reversed hooks (big grip), and the traditional hooks (another brand). After trying them out, I decided to keep the reversed hooks (big grip) only.Pros:- Reversed hooks allow grabbing the bar/handle with grips fully closed so bar/handle won't slip, unlike the traditional hooks.- Reversed hooks (big grip) are 0.75"-1" wider, the end of the hooks are lower, and the inner diameter is tighter than the reversed hooks (regular). So there's enough space for all of my 5 fingers (small hand) on big grip, I can also palm it better, and the bar/handle slides less.Cons:- If the curved end was 0.5-1cm taller, it would be perfect.- Even with the reversed hooks (big grip), the inner diameter of the hooks is a little big for my 1" barbell/dumbbell handle, so my bar/handle slides from time to time.

Frayed Edges A Problem
I like these reverse hook grips. However, I'm having to reorder periodically due to the ends fraying of the nylon webbing that attaches to the hook grip. The steel metal edge of the slot where the nylon webbing goes through is acting as a friction point. The result is frayed nylon ends which are not safe when lifting heavy weights. Suggest rounding the steel edge of the slot.

Rewiew on Reverse Grip Hook Straps
Im loving this reverse grip hook lifting straps as it allows you to pull the weight by arms and not concentrated on the hand griping the bar. With the arms doing the pulling it helps to concemtrate with all the back exercises..The hooks greatly help esoecially in deadlifts as there is no more hand hurting griping the bar tighter.Overall, this is good product, the only concern is you cant convert the reverse grip hooks into normal non-reverse (hook facing out the palm of the hand) because of the design and position of velcro strap when you wrap it around the wrist.
