Q: Can you use this to float the river?

It's not as thick or sturdy as a regular tube to float the river. But it depends on the river and if there are any twigs/branches in a very shallow river, maybe not.

Q: How long does it really take to inflate? and what size electric pump are you using?

He has 5 #2 valves, around 7mm in diameter, ergo unless you have a high-volume AC electric pump, it is going to take a while, with the Intex matress pumps it took around an hour factoring motor cooldown times. Using an AirHead high volume pump it takes around 10 minutes at most. If that is a problem I highly recommend the Toucan models ftom GoFloats which have either #3 or even bigger Boston style valves.

Q: Would this fit a 6'3 344lbs guy.

This is one of the more flimsy floats I have purchased like this. I would say probably not comfortably, plus if left in the sun this thing gets so hot you cannot touch it.

Q: Where is this float made? USA?

I know the vinyl pool liners are made in the USA so I would say yes on these but I can not be 100% certain
