Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Trolls Mike

This adorable little troll version of Michelangelo (which I hunted down in-box specifically as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday) arrived in the mail today.PackagingPros: Package arrived a full eight days sooner than predicted by the shipping tracker. While I did pay for extra shipping, I still didn't expect to receive the toy this quickly. Very impressive. Packaging was excellent: neatly sealed, packing peanuts included for cushioning.Cons: None; this toy was packaged even more carefully than the other product I ordered directly from Amazon.com.Product:Pros: "Mike" himself looks great: as promised, the toy's box is in good-very good condition, with only minor cardboard wear. The troll's hair is also clearly still stitched to the back of the box and the included weapons have not been moved or taken out of their plastic packaging.Cons: The top of the toy's box has been taped on each side, a bit messily. Since the toy itself has clearly not been disturbed, I think the tape may have simply been placed there to ensure that the box wouldn't pop open during shipping. Usually this detail wouldn't bother me at all (it's an easy fix and was probably done for practical shipping purposes I'm not aware of), but since this is a gift meant to be displayed as part of a collection rather than posed/played with, I really want it to look as nice as possible.Overall: I'm so happy that 1) I was able to find this piece at all, 2) the price was reasonable, 3) it was in such great condition 4) I received it so quickly, and with such an obvious degree of care taken to ensure its welfare. I'm not much into toys these days, but my boyfriend is a fairly serious collector and a long-time TMNT fan who will appreciate the care taken with his gift as much as I look forward to appreciating the look on his face when he opens it up.
