Mommy's Helper Car Seat Sun Shade - 2 Pack

This thing is awful. The paper backing on the inside of thing the second I unwrapped the first on, the paper backing started crumbling to pieces. It was like confetti going all over the inside of my car. It was extremely brittle and just touching it, the paper disintegrated. But I was out, it was hot outside and I knew my 3 year old would have a hot car seat when I came out of the store. I decided against my better judgement to use it anyway for her comfort and that was a horrible decision. When I removed the seat cover after 30 minutes, my child's car seat looked like it had been covered in white ashes.Do not buy this product. Look elsewhere for something with better materials on the inside lining. All of the 5 star positive reviews, they must have had better luck getting a batch that wasn't crumbling to pieces when they opened it.

I had very high hopes for these car seat covers. We live in south Texas and it gets HOT! I have 2 kids in car seats and I have to run the ac for 10 minutes before I even feel comfortable putting them in their seats in the summer time. These covers looked like the answer to my problem!First off, they are a bit thinner than I expected. They did fit over the seats just fine though (a graco contender and cosco scenera). I do like the fact that they roll up easily and the rubber band holds everything in place for easy storage. I was a bit disappointed in how well the product actually works though. I can't lie, it does help keep the seats a bit cooler. However, they are still hot! I wasn't expecting a miracle but it basically took it from "3rd degree burn" hot to "seriously uncomfortable but no lasting damage" hot. I still use them but now I use the covers, take them off, run the ac for about 2 minutes and then load the kids up. It isn't perfect but it does help. It has saved a little bit of time but not quite as much as I was hoping.

These are seriously the best impulse buy I've ever made. I have a bucket seat and a full sized Safety First Air (which is huge) and these shades fit them both. One of our car seats is black, and we have a black car, so in the summer we would usually have to run the AC for 5 minutes or so to cool off the interior enough that the car seat would cool down to a tolerable temperature. When I say the seats get hot in the sun, I mean painful to touch with my hand, so I snapped these up while making another purchase in the hopes of at least making the car seat bearable in the summer. These actually leave the seats cool to the touch and we've used them in some pretty ferocious sun/heat days. I would 100% recommend them to anyone that owns a car seat, truly a must have.

Pretty good to cover the car seat, we use it for our Graco 4 ever. The cover is cheap enough where we don't care about if it tears but so far it is holding up and doing the job of keeping the seat cool for baby. The ends of the cover are elastic so you can dome it over the bottom of the seat and tuck it above the seat. We don't use the headrest of the seat yet so we just tuck in the cover to make it stay for now.7 months later, these things are still going strong. No tears or rips and it kept the baby's seat nice and cool during our hot summers 92-99 degrees. Still 5 stars.

Purchased 2 of these and they both went straight to the trash! Right when I opened each package, a lot of white flaky paper like material fell out. I tried to shake it out, but it was all coming from the inner liner. No way I'm putting that mess in my car or on my kid's seats. Waste of money. Immediately threw both covers in the trash.

Kept one in my car and the other in my moms. Did keep the infant car seat cooler (so long as we spent enough time getting a snug fit - which is hard to do with one hand because baby) Surprisingly had a harder time getting a good fit on a convertible car seat (which it seemed geared towards). Unfortunately both started disintegrating pretty quickly. It's a nice idea, but I don't think I'd buy it again.

I live in the sunny southwest and these are great for keeping the sun / heat off of the car seat. This is helpful in preventing the upset kid getting into the hot seat and also with the sun here keeps the seat from fading and needing replacement before its time is up. The on and off does cause these to last, at least for me about 1 year, but the price of them and performance is reasonable for that time. Would rather this take the beating from the sun etc... than the expensive car seat

I have one for each car! I was afraid when I had black car seats that in the summer they would be so hot for my infant! But these have been awesome at not letting the heat of the color when I have no choice but to park in the sun to keep the temperature down.
