Light weight even full of water, secure on belt with exceptions.
I like this water bottle, it has just enough water to refuel midway through a hike without adding the weight of a normal and heavier water bottle.I did notice, as some others mentioned, that the bottle cap sometimes seems to leak. I found out through about 12 hikes that this occurs sometimes when the cap is not "evenly" screwed onto the grooves of the bottle itself.By way of explanation I have sent three pictures to illustrate the cap screw issue and a potential consideration for a clamp design change in later versions. The 1st picture shows the white bottle by itself and the neck threads of the bottle. You can see where there are 3 distinct grooves for the cap to engage. The 2nd picture shows the white bottle with the installed collar/clamp assembly fitted over the bottle neck opening. Not that the collar covers up the last of the three threads at the base of the neck of the bottle. It also could be that this loss of the last thread contributes to some of those times when leakage occurs. My sense is that the bigger issue is that folks are in a hurry to fill the bottle and they just start screwing the cap on even though it is not lined up properly, and if they stop screwing when they meet the resistance of the collar thinking the cap is secured then perhaps some water will come out when the bottle is turned upside down. One last observation for future clamp design considerations. The 3rd picture shows the collar/clap and cap installed with a normal 1 and 5/16ths inch leather belt which I use to hold both the water bottle and other assorted gear on hikes You can see clearly the pressure "fairings" on the clamp between the inside of the clamp and the belt. Note that the belt is wider than the SPIBelt (which I think is 1 inch in width). My belt is a pretty standard belt width and if the fairings were designed to be located about another 5/16th of an inch lower on the clamp it would much more securely hold the water bottle,...and make the bottle much more compatible with the overall water bottle user community, I think. I have experienced the bottle becoming partially or fully dislodged from the belt when I am entering or exiting a vehicle. Not a big deal to a user but something to watch for when using.

perfect sized water bottle for medium hikes
Perfect for my 1-hour hike, just the right size.- not too big, so it doesn't weigh down my belt/pants. The belt clip is secure and easy to get on/off.- seems just about perfect amount of hydration. I usually get home with a little water left.first time I used it it leaked, but seems I had not aligned the clip and the lid didn't screw down all the way. Now I am a little more careful to align and screw down the lid and all is well.

Good overall
Great size and good for the most part. Clip does not always sit snuggly and has fallen off a couples times.

Works fine with any belt
When walking, this belt water bottle works fine with all my random belts. It does tend to leak a bit when it's full unless the top is rotated very tight and the nipple is depressed. It provides a very convenient service of a light-weight water supply to satiate a dry throat when out on a short hike.

no bounce, all spill.
while this really does stay put on my running belt and my waistband of my leggings for long runs, the water spills EVERYWHERE despite the cap being screwed on tight/correctly and the nozzle being closed. It spilled all over me for the run, to the point that I ended up carrying it in my hand until it was empty and threw it away.

The clip is easy to use when running
I bought this water bottle and SPI belt for my running. I love to use this bottle. It’s so easy to attach to the running belt and it won’t bounce. I read some of the reviews mentioned about smell/ taste. I used lemon and left them overnight in the bottle to remove any weird smell and I don’t taste any weird taste anymore. Good size, I love the clip. A great buy.

Stays on well on belt but can leak when running
Love the size and ability to clip in on to my running belt but sometimes when I'm running if the bottle is full and it is hitting the side of my leg, water will leak out and my pants will end up getting soaked.

Great clip on bottle
I really like this bottle. I do use it with a SPIbelt that I’ve had for a long time. Just started using the bottle last week, no spills or leaks as others have complained of. I only wish it was a larger capacity, because I live in the hot and humid Deep South. I’m going to order another bottle and hope it’s not a pain to run with 2 clipped on at the same time.
