great if you update sd library to adafruit version
Bought to use on atmega 2560 {using elegoo version}. https://amzn.to/3oGqqGSWhen connecting on mega board connect to 50,51,52, CS = 53.Big tip: replace {arduino original SD library} to {adafruit SD} on github.then all sd examples should work fine.

Works well, depending on ground pin
All was working well. I disconnected it to put it in its new enclosure and use a proto-shield. Suddenly, it would corrupt files, but only sometimes. It would corrupts the whole file system. There are two GND pins on the board, on on each end, so I swi8tched to the other one, and it worked perfectly. Maybe 1 is for 3.3, and the other is for 5?

Card reader works, but there is a mistake on module
This reader works, but R1 which is supposed to be on CS is on D9 instead. Also neither card detect nor write protect is brought out to a pin. Couldn't find a datasheet or documentation to verify this is the way it was meant to be.
