I have tried Heat Holders in the recent past, three pairs worn daily around the house to keep feet warm, ALL developed holes in the sole within eight months. Decided to try Hot Feet this time after reading many reviews, which seem to indicate they are warmer than Heat Holders (which is true), less expensive (true), and last longer (remains to be seen). The main review complaints are that the Hot Feet socks tend to have a bit smaller fit (they are somewhat smaller fitting - I wear size 12.5 wide men's shoes - the Heat Holders fit loosely and allow wearing light-weight socks as a base layer to increase heat retention - however, the Hot Feet socks also fit a bit on the loose side and are very comfortable). The Heat Holders are designed with longer tops and a VERY tight elastic top which I did not find comfortable on my calves, so I wore them rolled down to my ankles. The Hot Feet socks have a shorter top and the top elastic isn't as tight, which I find more pleasing to wear for long periods. The Hot Feet socks are significantly warmer. Update June 2018: Turns out, the Hot Feet socks last about the same number of months as Heat Holders worn under identical conditions - since Hot Feet are less expensive, I believe they are the better deal.

As a senior, our feet tend to not get the circulation they they did when we were younger. So with this being said, now that I've been wearing them, my feet are no longer cold both indoors and outdoors. With this recent arctic blast that hit most of the US, I'm so glad I'm wearing them. I have no trouble putting my boots on while I wear these socks. Here in Texas, a lot of folks wear boots. So I fully recommend y'all get these wonderful socks to keep your feet nice and toastie.

These are the warmest socks ive ever had. Silky smooth on the inside and EXTREMELY comfortable. My feet get epically cold in these chicago winters and these have been a godsend to me. Gonna order 10 more pairs, dont even want any other winter socks than these in my arsenal. Would wear in fall too. Money!

I bought these socks for one reason only - keep my feet warm around the house. They don't do that job well at all. We keep the house around 69 degrees all day and while I have very warm shirts and pants, my feet were always cold even with two layers of socks thin socks.I tried these immediately when I got them and noticed no difference between my regular socks. I even layered them I couldn't tell the difference between doing that with normal socks. The soft lining is nice, but again not why I got them.I tried to return them as I would with anything at a store that didn't do what it was designed to do, but these socks aren't eligible for return. Guess it's fine to have a soft pair of socks but a waste of money on the warming front.

I purchased these socks after reading reviews comparing to Heat Holders.Do not purchase if you’re expecting a close resemblance-no comparison.So disappointed. I wear a woman’s 8 1/2 and always get men’s Heat Holders for my neuropathic feet.These are too small and feel like cheap hiking socks...was hoping for an answer for my senior budget. I will not skimp again.They got here in a timely fashion, hence the one star.

Junk, had less than a month only wore one pair for a total of approximately 20 hours on hardwood floors and carpet inside house and already have a hole the size of a dime in one pair. They are warm until you get a huge gaping hole in them after a couple weeks.

I've had a few pairs of these in the past and have worn them out because i wear them often! Typically wear them over a sock liner in the deer stand (hunting) and these keep the heat in and (for the most part) the cold out. After sitting for 6 hours, not much is going to keep you warm, but these definitely help!I also wear them around the house on cold winter days.Great product!

It was a gift for my boyfriend, but one of the socks had a big hole... he didn't tell me because he didn't want to be rude.I thought he liked them, but he is not using them because of that hole.Colors are great, and the return window have already passed, so I cannot do anything.

Buen material que protege del frío, aunque no los he utilizado con zapatos o botas, el grosor podría ser un inconveniente. Recomendados para estar en casa.

Se los compré a mi esposo porque es muy friolento, así que los probó y le encantaron, soy muy calientitos, cómodos y fáciles de lavar, además, los colores son discretos y elegantes.

Calcetines amplios y calientes. No como para uso diario , tienen relleno polar, lo recomiendo para dormir.

En los días mas fríos de este invierno utilicé el producto y mantuvo mis pies confortablemente calientes.
