I've seen the photo's of another customers crushed model. Fur sure, a bummer. But I received mine in a box, double bagged and in perfect shape. Thank you Amazon and Kangaroo. Anyway. This time, I didn't replace the ribbon. Instead, I added my own small folded bow to the left side. I also added a 1 1/2" inch satin ribbon on the inside. End result? Check out the pic's for yourself. A more classy little hat. Now, if I may offer a few words to those who feel that a "costume" hat is only for, well, special dress-up & silliness. I purchased this item because I happen to have other Kangaroo hats. All are made of a super strong, totally waterproof material and method. I live in Seattle, where, if you aren't familiar, it rains. A lot. And I don't hide out indoors when it does. I've wanted a bowler/derby hat, but as you know, authentic felt, when it becomes too wet, will actually loose it's from. Thus my choice for a "costume" version of this venerable style. Please give this item a thought, including my added little enhancements. It's worth it, and you'll like the end results. Just an idea to consider.

This hat is huge and poorly made. Mine has glue all over the rim that won't be scratched off. Not made to fit a woman's head. I was going to return but then it said they would deduct nearly $7 for shipping, considering I paid $8 what a ripoff so I'm not even going to bother. I found a hat at Walmart that is similar but has a nice elastic insert to keep the hat in place.

I was looking for a hat for my femme clockwork orange outfit and it was perfect!No idea how this hat fits so many heads perfectly but it's definitely a good buy. It has my stamp of approval!

Hat came dented and the rim was bent in. I do not know if this was just a problem with the shipping or not. It was able to be worked back into shape The seams on the rim are also very visible and it is a bit too small for my head. It worked perfectly fine for how I was useing it.

I needed a hat to complete a carnival clown character costume for a fundraiser and this hat delivered! Not only did it fit my large head (with tucked in man bun) perfectly but it also turns out to be water resistant: I wore it in a dunk tank and even after 5 times of getting completely dunked underwater, it held up with absolutely no issue! I was a little nervous when it arrived slightly dented on the side, but I was able to pop the dent out immediately and the small crease it left was barely visible afterwards. Highly recommend, especially for any sort of costuming needs.
