Beautiful planter, BUT drainage extremely small
First of all, this is a really beautiful and sturdy planter. Weighty ceramic with a nice glaze, and an attached saucer. I'm glad I bought it!That being said, even though this pot has drainage, I would NOT recommend planting directly in the pot. I would suggest you only use the pot as a "cachepot": a decorative pot that you place a removable nursery container in. Here's why...The main pot has a single hole in the bottom, roughly 1/2" (~12mm) in diameter. This drains into the saucer below. The way the saucer is attached to the pot, there is almost a total seal the entire way around. There are three EXTREMELY tiny/thin openings around the base of the pot where it attaches to the saucer. Additionally, the saucer lip is extremely short in height. What this means is that (1) the saucer holds almost no water before it overflows, and most importantly (2) ***stagnant water will sit in the saucer underneath the pot, with no way of evaporating.*** While the water level can't get very high before it overflows the saucer edges, the entire point of drainage in planters is to eliminate pools of water. The other concern I have with this pot is that the micro-size drainage holes in the saucer are so tiny, almost any debris can block them. Again, this is super bad because water rarely drains from pots perfectly, 100% clear. There isn't really any way to clean the space under the pot to remove any dirt or debris that collects there. All that being said, the pot seemed to drain fine when I filled it with water as a test...but due to the reasons above, I would not feel comfortable using this pot to plant in directly. I would only use it to hold another pot, and would allow the inner pot to drain in the sink completely before placing it in this one.If you're okay with that, it's a great purchase. If you're looking for a pot to plant in directly, I'd strongly suggest something else.

House Plant Lovers: You will love this drainage
This pot is great! It has excellent drainage. It has a drainage saucer as well which is always a plus from me. The materials are strong and great for my house plant. The design is also very cute which is also a big plus.

Practical planter with strong visual appeal
First time buying a Potey planter and it will not be the last. First of all, the packaging was excellent and really protected the product during shipping. The pot is very cute and seems very sturdy and well made. I am currently using it to store a smaller plant in a 4" grow pot that I will eventually repot directly into this planter. I like that it has drainage, but since the attached saucer is fairly small I don't think it would hold a lot of water. I tend to water my plants directly in the shower so that doesn't bother me too much. I recommend you either water fairly slowly or water it in the shower, outside, or maybe inside another saucer that you can remove once you know how much water is going to come out. Overall I'm very impressed with this and will definitely be getting it in other colors. I feel confident buying pots from Potey in the future.

I AM IN LOVE!
I was worried it would arrive broken, but the packaging was amazing. It was well secured in a tight box. I got this planter for its pretty color, but now that it has arrived I think i will buy these in the future for hanging plants. These are perfect for hanging plants because they have an attached saucer. It makes bottom watering easier by just adding a small amount of water to the bottom saucer. Anyways, here's my Philodendron Verrucosum chillin in its new pink pot. I have it in a net plastic pot and placed it in the pink pot as a cache pot.

Super cute and functional pot!
This pot is so cute! Love the pink color and the lighter pink speckles, it looks adorable with my home decor! Love that it has its own tray and a drainage hole — my only complaint is that the pot doesn’t slope down to the hole so some water does still sit on the bottom of the pot (I have another plastic pot inside it holding the plant, I haven’t pitted directly into the pot itself yet) but it’s not a ton so it’s not a big deal. Still a really great pot that came packaged fantastically so it wouldn’t break!

You get what you see :)
The package came way earlier than expected and it is just as beautiful as the pictures. It looks so pretty and the glaze is perfect. I would definitely look at the picture of the person holding it to really know how big it is even if they have the measurements in their pictures. The color and the pot itself is great. I haven’t planted my baby houseplant I just bought but I’m sure they will love it. My mom had already said the pot is prettier than the plant! lol

Attached Tray
I love this pot! The tray on the bottom is attached and it has drainage in the bottom of the pot. The photos do not do this pot justice! I bought this pot for my White Polka-Dot plant as it is growing out of it's current pot. She is going to look stunning when I get her transferred! Now to get the Pink Spotted Pot for her Pink Polka-Dot Sister. I can't wait to see them together.

Buy it and ditch your plastic pots
This pot is beautiful and I love that it comes with a hole in the bottom for drainage but also has a plug if you choose not to do that and it comes with a little mesh patch to cover it so the dirt doesn’t fall through. It’s very thoughtfully made and my plant looks so pretty in it.
