Patisse 02141 4-piece round double rolled tart rings set, 3.125", Metal (Fivе Расk)

I wanted to make English Muffins and needed rings. After reading reviews, I decided that Patisse and Mermaid brand rings looked like the best choices. I was not sure which would be better, so I ordered 1 pkg of each. They are both well-made, high quality products. They have nicely rolled edges, and are sturdy and do not bend under normal pressure. They sit flat in the pan.The Patisse are sold by a Dutch company. No indication if they are made there, or possibly someplace else. The metal is shiny stainless steel, and they have a seam, which may or may not cause problems in the future. So far, none. They come in a thin, flimsy clear plastic(?) box, which can be used to store them. Advertised as dishwasher-safe.The Mermaid brand are made in China. The metal is a brushed aluminum, and they have no seam, which seems to me to be a good thing. They are packed on a cardboard backing with a piece of plastic over them, which you tear off to get to the product. To store them, I cut the cardboard in half (to fit the bag), slipped them into a gallon ziplock bag, and then covered the rings with the plastic that had been torn off when I opened the pkg. There is a recipe for crumpets on the back. Hand-wash only. I don’t like using aluminum cookware, for possible health risks, but that’s just me.The Patisse (3 1/8” x 1”) is 1/8” wider, and 1/8” deeper than the Mermaid (3”x7/8”) (all inside dimensions).Unless stainless vs. aluminum matters to you, or shiny vs. dull, or ‘made in China’ vs. ‘made in Holland’(?maybe), or the 1/8” size difference, or seam vs. no seam, I can’t see that it matters much which one you buy. To me they are equal in quality. They both washed up equally well. I oiled them both with Avocado oil and my English muffins stuck to both. I oiled them next time with lard and sprinkled them with cornmeal and there was no sticking at all.I’ve read that English muffins are three to four inches in diameter. So this will make muffins on the smaller end of the scale. I think 3” is perfect. But if you want a 4” English muffin, these won’t do.My only reservation is that my muffins were so perfect they seemed to lack character, and almost looked strange, like hockey pucks. (But tasted fine.) I’m posting this review under both products.

PERFECT!!! I have been baking gluten free English Muffins and although they taste great they have never resembled an English Muffin. These rings are perfect. The size is what I wanted and the quality of the seamless stainless steel with the rolled edges is top notch. I was preparing myself for disappointment (with online shopping you never really know) and I am 100% satisfied. I do recommend this set of 4 for anyone looking for this type of baking ring and I am going to order a second set of 4, so that I can bake 8 English Muffins at a time.

I love these rings. I use them to make crumpets and to cook eggs fit perfectly atop my crumpets to make breakfast sandwiches! Yes, there is a seam, but it's not impacted the shape of anything I use them for. With the rolled edges, they are easy to grip with tongs. I haven't had issues with the dough or egg leaking under the bottom edge. With cooking spray, they release and clean up easily. They are lightweight but don't seem flimsy. I store them in the plastic box they came in.

I chose this brand because the reviews were good... other brands had a lot of complaints... I've used them 2-3 times with excellent results... so far, so good

I had been making crumpets "free hand" without rings for about a year. They taste fine, but I didn't like the way they looked. I purchased these so that I could have crumpets that look like the traditional crumpet shape. So far they have worked really well for me. I do find that I need to spray them with oil before I put batter in them every time, but that is not a big deal. It is also important that you wash these by hand and then dry them quickly to make sure they don't rust. That process take me just about 2 minutes, which is fine. I wash, dry, and then store them away for use next time. If I needed a second set (as my son is now a teenager, and he eats them faster than I can make them some days) I would not hesitate to buy another set.

These work great and as designed. Toss in the upper rack of the dishwasher, and your done.Tip: if you see excessive leaking you may want to check your pan. Many lightweight pans warp over time.

Food rings have to be stainless steel in order to be effective. If these are stainless steel, they are the thinest, most poorly constructed I've ever seen. Very good food rings have no overlapping links; they are seamless. These are not.

Good quality product. I use them to make brioche buns and they work well. Ad says they are dishwasher safe, but I am not so sure how they would hold up in the dishwasher on a regular basis. I have not put them in the dishwasher so I can't (and won't) say they are not good to go in the DW. They might be. Good ring though regardless of DW point. I recommend them.

I wanted rings to make crumpets and these performed perfectly. They came with (in the packing) recipes for tartlets, in French, which I translated after a fashion and made perfect "tartlettes chocolat". A nice bonus.

I thought that they are bigger but this are small size I should have read the description better, mi fault, but I am keeping them as they are good quality and good for making small tarts

Perfect. The rings have rolled edges so they don't scratch your pan. If you grease them the crumpets come straight out (yes, if you don't grease them enough it can stick). I shall try them with poached eggs next, but I bought them for crumpets and I am very pleased.The box contains recipes in French, for exotic French things I am not planning to make.

Nachdem ich so viele Grafiken und Videos mit Tarteletts gesehen habe, musste ich mir unbedingt diese Backringe / rahmen zulegen.Habe sie jetzt schon des öfteren eingesetzt u.a. mit Mürbeteig. Es klebt nichts, lässt sich alles gut lösen und das Gebäck sieht richtig edel aus.Durch die Höhe passt genügend Füllung rein, dann sollte man den Teig aber 10 Min blind vorbacken.Es ist sehr stabil und lässt sich gut reinigen.Sehr zu empfehlen. Preis ist angemessen.

Realmente son unos moldes para hacer unas tartaletas y que no tuvieran base. Hice una pequeña prueba y me salieron bien. El problema. Es que necesitaría más y deberían ser más baratos.

Jetzt kann ich endlich originale englische Crumpets machen, sind sehr gelungen. Durch den leicht gewölbten Rand lassen sich die Ringe in der Pfanne gut halten und drehen. Sind vom Material kräftig und schwer genug, die verformen sich sicher nicht.

Wirken sehr wertig und werden hoffentlich lange halten. Funktionieren eiwandfrei

Ottimi anelli di acciaio per multi uso. Io li uso per fare hamburger sous vide. Ma ovviamente niente vieta di usarli per il loro scopo originale ;)

Die Ringe sind super.8 cm ist die perfekte Größe/ Durchmesser Werde mir einen zweiten Set holen sodass ich mehr auf einmal herstellen kann.Absolute Kauf-Empfehlung.

Ware kam sehr schnell an. Sind super zufrieden. Würden das wieder kaufen.

Ich habe diese Tortenringe gekauft, um damit typisch englische Crumpets zu machen und sie funktionieren wie erwartet. Sie sind qualitativ hochwertig, lassen sich einfach verwenden (einfetten), kleben nicht und lassen sich auch einfach wieder reinigen.

Perfekte Tartelettsringe. Ohne einfetten bleibt nichts kleben. Absolute Kaufempfehlung 👍👍👍
