Old Fashioned Dark Roux (16 oz)

BEST ROUX! I have been using this product for several years. The flavor always makes my gumbo taste AMAZING! ALWAYS FRESH. Saves cooking time. The roux is super easy to use. LOVE IT!

I was hesitant to go the non-traditional route and get a store-bought roux, but holy cow is it worth it. I will freely admit that this gave my gumbo better flavor that anything I've accomplished making it from scratch. And the leftovers just kept getting better and better! I recommend making this and then waiting until the next day to eat it (if you can resist the temptation). I will be using this for roux from now on. Great product.

This stuff is amazing. Use it for every gumbo. Also, when it came to me, it was well packaged. I did not have to worry about breakage. Thank you.

I have never used a commercially made roux before. It is nice to have available when I don’t want to make my own roux. I would buy again.

I love gumbo but it is a lot of work to make. Mostly because the roux takes so long. But this shortcut worked great and no one noticed the difference between my roux and jar roux. Saved me probably an hour. Love it!!

I've tried making homemade Roux before and it takes a long time. Then you're not sure if it's going to turn out the way you like it. Just about everyone in our family uses this same brand. Occasionally I find it in a grocery store but for me it's easiest to just order it online. It also has a rather long shelf life so I tend to order a new one right after I use my current one. You can't go wrong with this one.
