while most people don't think of glycolic acid as a hair loss solution, it exfoliates the dead layer of skin on the scalp allowing the hair follicles to get more nutrition, a healthy scalp is very crucial for hair growth. Using glycolic acid shampoo once or twice a week would be beneficial. This shampoo is effective and the price is decent if not somewhat expensive, however it's watery and doesn't smell very nice.

For some reason, the back of my head keeps having acne the area above the neck. I used to use Glycolic 15% lotion; that works great but I don't like its look when you apply to your skin and it sticks to the hair. I decided to buy this shampoo. It works like charm. The acne goes away and no embarrassing look as the lotion. Will continue to use this product.

It's hard to believe but the problem went away right after shampooing. That stuff is worth its weight in gold. You can't imagine the pimples on my scalp. I thought I had shingles of the scalp. There is only one problem, You are winging it on directions unless you want to pay to see a doctor. My own view of it is that it must be pretty strong so I do not plan to use it daily. Before this, I tried a number of things that did not work.

I don't know that this is worth $32, ever. It works somewhat but its the nearly the same consistency as water so as long as you're okay with losing probably half of it, this might be an okay purchase. It has somewhat cleared up my scalp but not enough to justify the price. I won't buy it again.
