Belt brace very good. Back panel not so much.
The brace is very effective, but the back panel too flimsy and not supportive. Just moves around when bending over. I decided to buy this same product, a bit cheaper without the panel. Provides enough support without the panel. very effective. pulls very strong and tight and easier to use than other cheaper back braces. I did go down a size however (waist size 30). The front belt is smaller on the small and easier to wear, although the medium has a wider band which has a bit more size/hip support, it felt too bulky. the small I can adjust well enough. Helps with my sciatica and herniated lower lumbar discs.

A more supported back, less knee pain
I had forgotten years ago when a client of my, a knee surgeon, said "most often when the knee is in pain it may have to do with your back support." Through the years of moving forward with work and life, I had forgotten this simple fact. Recently a friend of mine, with severe back pain shared with me an approval he received from his doctor for a back support of similar nature. I went onto Amazon and sought out the devise saw this one, and recognized it as a similar one that our pets Vet wears, and made a decision on the spot to order for myself. The very next day it arrived. If you have back and knee pain, give it a try. Much less expensive then the one the insurance is paying for to assist my friend.

Decent, but doesn't stay firm long
The first few days of wearing this definitely offered great support, but the straps and the back panel seem to have gotten softer the more I wear it. I've worn it for maybe around 8 days total (a few hours each day) and now I feel like I have to pull it really tight to get the support I'm looking for. It ends up digging into my skin. So it's like a trade-off, either the back is supported and my skin is being pinched, or the back isn't being very well supported.

Not for everybody
I found this actually caused more nerve pinching in my case, and stopped wearing it after a few tries. I only kept it on for about 3 hours a stretch, but I found it just compressed my stomach into the bottom of my ribs more than helped my back. I could still bend forward, which is the movement I didn't want, and it only stopped me from leaning backward. The velcro for it's time I spent with it was good, didn't stretch out on me at all. Like a lot of medical devices and braces like these, they're awkward to store and kinda flops around especially if it isn't velcroed in a loop. Keep the box it comes in for storage, it's helpful.

Confidence and Stability
I had excruciating nerve pain in my low back from bulging discs of varying degrees, one that impinged my S! nerve (verified via MRI). I had multiple injection sessions and a lumbar epidural injection. The last one made a huge difference. Still, I had pain and I was concerned that the slightest wrong move would send me back into horrible pain. I put this device on, adjusted to the lower setting, and thought it wouldn't make much difference. I was wrong! At the end of the day, the usual nagging pain was not there. I took the brace off at the end of the day and realized I felt great! Over the past week, I started to do more activities. On the days that I wear this device, my back does not get fatigued and my sciatic nerve is not irritated. When I wear it, I have more confidence to do my day-to-day activities, within reason, e.g. carry groceries, clean my home, sit at my desk for more than 15 minutes. The kind of activities I took for granted before the nerve pain. This brace is helping me get back my stamina and movement while protecting the area that is healing.

Great back brace!
This back brace is very good. My husband prefers it a great deal over the one he got at the doctor’s office. He’s doing very well with it since his lumbar spine surgery. We recommend it especially for larger people.

Good comfortable support
If you need to wear a brace, I'll say this is fairly comfortable. The additional tightening straps are a game changer in terms of achieving maximum support. I've only had it on a couple of times so far so can't comment on durability yet.
