I am sort of shocked it worked, but it worked! I had to clean the pond liner with 99.9% alcohol, and then I used 3 patches. I did one on top of the other a little bigger on each one. The roll is plenty to work with, but it's only 10 feet. I used gloves when messing with it because it is so sticky. It is excellent quality tape. Light years better than duct tape for sure. It does not stick to wet surfaces, but will be able to get wet once you apply it to a clean dry surface. It's solid black in color. Highly functional. Would buy more. In fact I already did buy more. It's great. Good value and tape.

Love multiple kinds of Gorilla tape. Needed this for a PVC pipe that was coming apart - sump pump discharge outside. Works great, solved our problem, is very strong and wide. Very sticky and has held up to everything from sun to snow.

Used this to stop a rip in my boats vinyl seating from getting worse. Really easy to work with and is even soft to the touch so when you’re sitting on it you don’t even notice. Only 4 stars because sections of it did get loose slightly but overall it has held on really well.

The text beyond the line is the review from a different reviewer named Mark from June 21, 2022. I literally screenshot his review so I could repair my own 1,200 gallon vinyl pool. I had only one tiny hole spurting water on the seam of the side and the bottom. I couldn’t find the patch that came with the pool, so I was hoping for some sort of solution. So far, after one week, so good! I will add, be conscious about where you set the tape roll when not in use. It is so sticky that you’ll ruin any paper or susceptible materials with the adhesion of the side of the tape. ______________________________________________ Okay, so this is Gorilla Tape. Gorilla tape works, we all know this. But what about underwater? So my brand spanking new vinyl liner pool decides to spring not one, not two, but three leaks on its first fill up. 3000 gallons of water to fill this thing up, I wasn't going to empty it! I live in a desert, I felt guilty enough filling it up, emptying it out to fix a hole and then refilling, no way. So I researched a ton of different patches and came across this product here on Amazon. The reviews were weird. Yes, I read them just like you are doing now. Some say it didn't stick at all? Another says it comes off the roll really loose. Here is the scoop - there is an error on the directions for this tape. So, let's do two things here together - One, know you are not wasting your time, get this product. Right now, don't waste time! Two, read below on a couple of important but easy steps on using it. 1) The directions tell you to cut off the piece you want and then round the corners. Here is something important: Do NOT - guys, read that again - do NOT - use your wife's good scissors or the ones in your knife rack. Don't do it guys. The residue left behind was like crazy glue. It sticks! Your best bet is using a decent pair of scissors and making your cuts in one smooth motion. This will prevent goo from getting on your scissors. 2) AFTER cutting, get to where you need to place the tape and then REMOVE the transparent liner over the sticky part of the tape. The directions never tell you to remove this liner! Well, to those people with the negative reviews, they didn't remove the liner. Once you remove it, watch out - it is sticky as can be! Try not to touch the sticky part!! We took the tape, sticky exposed, went underwater, and stuck that bad boy right where the pool was leaking. Pressed all the air out, pressed down on the edges, then just stood on it for a few minutes. Did this for all three holes and not one has leaked again. Okay, so it isn't as pretty as some of the other patches, it is a big black piece of tape. But it works and works fast and it is easy. Buy with confidence.

Super sticky, Good size, Used it for patching my hunting blind roof that was torn and my daughters hockey bag and it works great and held up to some beatings. Overall with my uses it has worked AWESOME! would deff buy again.

There used to be a different tape made by this company that was fairly thin but worked much better that I cannot find anymore so I got this instead. This product was overall pretty mediocre as far as doing what it says it does. I tried it on a water pipe that had cracked during the winter and it did slow the leak but did not stop it. It was still enough of a leak that the pipe just had to be replaced. When I tried on an airbed type inflatable it worked okay, as in I had to refill the air only daily but it was still useable despite the leak. There was flocking on the airbed I had to get rid of first for it to work. A couple pointers if this is your intended use: 1. Make sure the piece you are using overlaps the leak by at least an inch in every direction. Kind of common sense but I had only about a half inch the first try and it was not working once any weight was applied to mattress. 2. Make sure item is completely empty of all air and repair area lays good and flat. Use something bigger than the repair area that is smooth and flat both under and as a weight on top of repair. After you place the tape put a heavy weight on top to help apply pressure and seat the tape. Doesn’t work well with just hand pressure, I had to leave the weight on for a few hours before it was stuck down well enough. The adhesive isn’t great but works okay after the time left sitting weighted down. Still peels off easier than I’d like no matter how long it is on there. I might try to seal edges of the tape with some kind of glue to improve performance but really shouldn’t have to if manufacturer description is correct. Overall I’m disappointed in this product, it just doesn’t seem to be what they claim in my opinion. Of course real world application and use in a lab setting where originally tested will not be the same as with anything. Fine for use in a pinch. I’m keeping in emergency toolbox as it does have some useful qualities.

Great tape, works very well. I use it for tarps. Easy to apply and sticks very nice.
