OverEZ Small Chicken Coop for up to 5 Chickens with Nesting Box - Large Bird, Poultry and Hen House Made from Wood

This is extremely solidly built with everything fitting together perfectly. The only issue I had was with assembly. As a woman alone I needed help with the heavy pieces. In its final state this coop protects against the elements and predators, and is comfortable for 5 chickens.

First off, the wrong coop was delivered. The coop was basically cheap particle board. It definitely wouldn't withstand the harsh weather. It was also much smaller in person. The price definitely didn't reflect what was ordered.

Coop has a large gap on front piece, next to egg box. Coop was constructed poorly by the manufacturer and now the sides do not line up correctly, when assembled. This is extremely disappointing for something in this price range to be defective and then sold to a customer 😡 shame on the company.

After a lot of research I chose the OverEZ coops. I'm very please with all aspects of this coop except one, the nests are too small. My smaller chickens barely fit let alone my big girls. If they have to they will lay eggs in them but when available they lay in a larger nest area I made nearby. Still, this coop is of such quality I purchased a second smaller one for use as a hospital/isolater/new chicken introducing coop. Because of my location I added a Mylar inside insulation they don't peck that is washable. I also added their electrical and auto door packages... And a dog run with a cover. This set will last a long time and keep my girls happy, warm and safe.

I took weeks to decide what coop to get my 4 full size hens. I finally decided on this coop and it’s AWESOME! I am 5’3” and 110 pounds and I can comfortably sit inside this coop! With room for all 4 of my chickens to spare! The big door on the side makes cleaning super easy and the whole coop is super sturdy. I put it together myself and it took a good 1.5-2 hours but it wasn’t awful.Shipping was a bit of an issue but the company was really responsive and sent out replacement pieces as needed.Overall, love this coop and it keeps my girls safe! I added laminate flooring to make cleaning even easier :)
