Let's Get Pickled! A Pickles Collection

It's raining so you can't go out. Well, instead you can settle back and read this one of many Pickles books. No throwing insults or whatever but mild humor, scenes of peaceful lives and a great dog. just what us more advanced in age readers will enjoy. Others too, I guess.

I love Pickles, always bring a smile to my day.

We've been reading this comic since it first started, and its good-natured, quirky humor continues in this collection. But, as in other "Pickles" collections, Baobab Press for some reason doesn't seem to include all the dailies of the strip, which can create for some consternation if the author was working on a multiple-day punchline. We sometimes get the lead up to a punchline, or others we have a punchline with no buildup.There is a hardback "collection" coming out later his year, so we shall see if that has all the dailies and the Sundays included......

Love pickles for myself

Who doesn't love Pickles?! Bought this book for my husband, as we ARE the Pickles! Our dog is even named Roscoe.

I learned about Pickles on Facebook. The cartoons are hilarious and so recognizable, but I was a bit disappointed that all the cartoons in the book are in black and white, which make them rather 'cold' compared to those on the internet, which are all in color.

I just wish it was in color but other than that I enjoyed the book 100%. If you like the comic strip you will like the book.

I love "Pickles" I would have liked to see the cartoons or at least some of them in colour but I guess that would be a lot more expensive to produce.

Love the cartoons and ordered the collection. Book in perfect condition, arrived quickly, protected packing. I will be getting more of these.
