I bought a hot bag last year to warm dinners the odd pastry slice pie pasty and it would be on a good 5/6 hrs to get it anywhere near a decent temperature.Saw this read a lots of reviews from this supplier and others and decided to take a chance as this box has 12v 24v and mains connections .So this is the first time I've used it and I did ask questions and received good feed back.Put a pre cooked mince & veg with baby potatoes from the fridge in it and turned it on in the truck 24v about 4hrs later. After an hour I had a piping hot meal. Absolutely banging hot after 1hr can't fault it so far .Update ... 1 week on .I have used this everyday and it's still working and delivering hot meals the only problem I've had is the light sometimes decides to not work. A work colleague was impressed and bought one he's done left over roast dinners Currys with rice he's really impressed and another 2 colleagues are buying them too.If your a driver I would recommend this product....

Perfect for a meal on the road. I was skeptical at first when I bought this but I’ve been surprised at how convenient the lunch box is.I normally switch it on at the start of my drive and the food is very warm by the time I get to my fist break (about 4hours later)I’ve reheated a cottage pie, massman curry and scotch pies; so far and everything’s worked out fine. (A cautionary note though the max temp is 70 degrees and food must be heated at 70 degrees for a minimum of 8 minutes to avoid food poisoning) a cheap temp probe might be worth a purchase.I would say the lunch box is only designed to reheat food I wouldn’t try cooking.Things that could be better would be a rubber seal for the lid, also rubber feet on the bottom.

I am a bit wary with electrical devices but a second lock down in winter and staying in London with no easy access to hot food inspired me to purchase this electric lunchbox (or dinnerbox in my case!) Considering the average Deliveroo ends up around £20-30 I decided it would soon pay for itself. I would definitely only use it when close at hand to monitor and I do find it takes longer to heat things adequately than they say so need to plan ahead a bit - but it's worth it to have a hot meal!

When I order this one I had no idea how useful will be this product.So the thing is:My man spending his evenings in his car as a driver. So this way he can have a warm/hot home made dinner what is much cheap yummy and healthy than a bought one.No he is not working (because the lock down) so he give me back.So sometimes when in my house the kitchen was to much busy ( we try to avoid each others with my flare mates just in case) I just used this one to make my lunch hot while I had a webinar. And because the smells I didn’t forget to eat on time 😅But then...My colleague in a web conference told me her flat mate have positiv covid 19 test so she is not even leaving her room only for a bathroom ( in a mask!) and for weeks she just eat sandwich. So fast I recommend this one for her and she was so happy to get it back the comfort of a warm food without to risk her health to go to her kitchen.

I needed a way of heating food in my truck, a friend recommended this, absolutely brilliant! Put the food in the dish, put in the heater, plug it in around 30-40 mins before eating (24v) stir occasionally, piping hot food! Removable dish makes it easy to clean, and the lid seals well as well. Highly recommended!

Used it twice so far in my truck, surprisingly pleased with it, I'm going to try the "take away" tinfoil dishes in it, that some people recommend, next time. Not sure about how long it will last tho, the build quality isn't brilliant, but we'll see. Best to set it off warming between an hour and a half and two hours to make sure it's piping hot, but that depends on what you put in it, bit of experimentation is called for.Recommended as its a helluva lot cheaper that a microwave in the truck!!!

Bought as a gift, the cutlery provided doesn't fit in the storage area on the lid which is very inconvenient I also bought a second one from a different seller and the cutlery fits perfectly. I wouldn't buy again.
