I used this as a data logging device using my Elegoo Uno R3 and the Arduino Create web IDE.Hooked up the SPI interface via the normal hardware pins and used the included <SD.h> drivers.Everything hardware worked great - but got tripped up by 8.3 char file name limit and need to remember to flush() periodically.

I used one of these developing an SPI driver, it worked great at first... half way through development I started getting strange results from the SD card. After a week of investigation I found this SD Card host had failed somehow and was randomly dropping signals from the host to the card...... I can't state how much anxiety this caused. I was actually waiting for a Logic Analyzer to arrive to debug further when I decided to switch to another SD card board... Everything suddenly started working.... painful and I can't rate it low enough.
