For the money these are excellent. The light units themselves are plastic, but well-made considering the price and the quality of the LEDs seems good. The variable brightness is effective with a good range and sensible increments. The included colour filters are also of good quality with nice tones whilst the white diffuser is effective. There are no cold shoe mounts moulded into the housings, but they do have a standard 1/4" threaded socket on the bottom for mounting.The stands are less impressive in terms of build quality but it's great that they are included in the price. They are surprisingly adaptable - each upright has a standard 1/4" screw thread at the top but also a socket on the bottom which allow them to be connected to the three-legged splay base. They extend to nearly twice their length with a simple twist locking mechanism. Because they are threaded in the bottom you could, in theory, use both together for extra height, but you are probably better off with a separate cheap tripod instead. The top variable-angle adaptor is cheap feeling but tightens effectively and the lamps have not slipped having been set once. The fact that everything uses 1/4" threads means that if anything breaks it should be easy to replace with another mounting option.They have USB Type A connectors for power so that you can run them off a USB wall charger or from a power bank. I have tried both and they worked just fine either way (you'll need power supplies that supply 2 Amps for each light though)Overall a great purchase and would improve the quality of videography or video calls when used appropriately. They won’t fill a studio with light but are great for close work (desk/arms-length). The fact that you get two for the price is amazing. Very happy with my purchase. N

I bought these lights to add some brightness to videos I make on a workbench. The lights are about postcard size. The light is quite harsh so I sometimes find it better to bounce the light off a wall. They are dimmable- the brightest setting is much brighter than I need. When the lights are powered off then on again later, they remember their brightness setting which is quite useful to keep videos consistent.The lights are powered by USB. Note that they require a 2A power supply which means that many power banks, and USB adapters that are supplied with phones and so on, might not work- check the markings to make sure they say 2A (many are just 1A). The power cables are quite long, and the on/off and brightness controls are inline with the power cables, which are not detachable from the lights- so some care must be taken not to damage them as they are not replaceable.The lights are supplied with tabletop tripods, but they have a standard size screw fitting so they could be used with other tripods if necessary. The tabletop tripods are adjustable- about 35cm high when opened and extended- and they also have an attachment (which can be removed) to allow the lights to be tilted. The tripods are plastic and not very sturdy and probably wouldn't survive too much bashing about but they are OK for home use.They are not supplied with a case. There are also some colour filters provided, but I haven't used those.Overall these are pretty good for their intended use- home tabletop video making and photography.

After reading some very mixed reviews I almost didn't buy these. So glad I did. These are small, lightweight but powerful, dimmable lights which are perfect for my table top photography projects. The tripods do their job in an indoors setting and you can tilt and turn to some degree. Obviously not as sturdy as heavier outdoor equipment but they are good value for what they are. I noticed some folks have marked them down for not being able to fit the coloured filters. The instructions are very poor and lacking in vital information. 1. The coloured filter MUST be inserted in front of the thicker white diffuser, 2. Each coloured filter has a protective film on both sides; you need to remove this otherwise the filters are too thick to slot in front of the white diffuser. I only noticed the protective film because an edge had lifted slightly and at first I thought the filter was damaged. I managed to remove the almost invisible film by gently scratching a corner with a pin until I was able to lift and peel away the film. Once this is removed they fit with no problem at all. The lights are dimmable and on the highest setting I certainly would not recommend you look directly at them. "Burns like the sun" comes to mind. All in all very happy with this purchase.

For beginner vlog setup, these did job really well and are super bright. Just used a dual USB brick to power Only caveat is make sure you have 10W EACH for these lights. So at least 20W total. They require 5V 2A output each which some of my USB devices can't go. You will need seperate USB power supply for them. Having 2 lights with colour filters that are this bright for this price is really good for photography or video. Stuff shows up on webcam FAR better than before.My only change would be having controls on light stand instead of cable, as controls can be hard to reach based on where plug is. But if it was on the lights, would be hard to reach based on where lights are so compromise either way.

I've used these lights for about 5 hrs per week on average over the past 6 months for my reselling business. For the price, they are amazing. The swivels and locks for positioning/rotating the lights are cheap plastic and don't function very well, but they haven't broken yet, so I'm impressed. Brightness is fairly good if the object you're trying to illuminate is within 4 or so feet of the lights. Overall, 8.5/10. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a cheap beginner lighting setup. Hope this helps someone.

Una excelente decisión para iluminación a un buen precio. No cuenta con control remoto, y veo que muchos tienen ese problema. Cuenta con botones para encender, aumentar y descender el nivel de luz.Se pueden adaptar a tripiés más altos en caso de ser necesario.Se sienten algo frágiles, pero aún así resisten las caídas y los golpes accidentales.

Precio calidad correcto

Is not the strongest, but do the job, works good as a support light.
