The blue ceramic is beautifully crafted. The wire pattern is suitably spaced for sunflower and safflower seed that I’m using.The only issue I have is with the size of the ceramic base. While birds feed, any seed that falls hits the ceramic base bounces off to the ground. Ok for the ground feeders but I would prefer the seed stayed up on the feeder.

Really like the style of this feeder. However, I can't figure out where to hang it to keep it away from the squirrels. I hung it from a beam on my garage and the squirrels were on it in 5 minutes happily munching away on the sunflower seeds

This is a really pretty bird feeder.the finches love it especially the gold finches.it holds just the right amount of black oil sunflower seeds.good feeder-good price

This is a beautiful feeder, I was initially very pleased. I did spend more for it than any previous feeder but I wanted a ceramic one that was open for the birds to get seed from various spaces. This was to be a replacement for a breaking ceramic feeder we have loved for years. The design seemed good at first and the titmice went right to it for the first day, because I put seed on the rim to entice them. After those were gone they have left it alone for a week. The wires are too close together and the seeds can't be pulled out. I was just testing this and tried to take a needle nosed plier to it, but I don't want to mangle it. What it looks like is I spent $40 for a piece of art to frustrate birds. Too bad, it is American made, which was delightful and I was willing to pay more for it for that sake. It is well made otherwise, just should have been spaced ever so slightly wider.

Very nice, but heavier than most bird feeders. It was too heavy for my sturdy shepherds hook.

I was very excited when I saw this feeder and was looking forward to enjoying the backyard birds coming to this sunflower seed feeder. It is very attractive and our backyard birds love sunflower seeds.Unfortunately, it has been up for about 3 weeks and I have not seen one bird successfully land and feed there. I have another sunflower seed feeder right next to it, the birds spent a lot of time there. I tested the theory that maybe they just preferred the other one and that once that one was empty they would move over to this one. That has not happened. I thought maybe it was just too small for the cardinals to land, but it is not only the cardinals who have stopped coming, it is the smaller finches as well.This was not an inexpensive feeder, I am extremely disappointed. I would be interested in returning it if that is possible.

Perfect size, definitely a conversation piece bird feeder. Looks like a lantern from afar, nice to have the small black iron S hook to screw into a pole. Nicely packed for the shipping, the ceramic is of a good thickness...not a cheap looking feeder. Very pleased!

Very attractive, functional bird feeder. Smaller birds enjoy it particularly.
