I received 3 very good quality pieces at least 4 inches long and almost an inch in diameter. You will need to soak these in hot water for a few days and then flush them under a faucet to clean them out. And even then, they will still release some particles and may discolor your water slightly. However, experts say that will only benefit your water and its habitants. Great for shrimp tanks.

Hello Fellow Humans, it’s S.T. aka OG StonyTony from OB in San Diego. Hey these are nice clean lil pieces with great spacing and natural size of holes where thorns once were. Good for DIY small art work I’m doing a air plant diy project. There approx. 6” in.& the interior center hole is small like between a pencil and dime in diameter & outer like size of a quarter. Yes what I wanted put them in the tank right away and one night the logs sank its perfectly fine.

I actually didn't end up using these, but I did wash them and boooyy were they dirty. I found out that Bettas can get stuck in these if they're small enough, so I decided to omit them from the tank. Unfortunately our Betta passed and now we have only 2 snails, so I may end up using them! They are very beautiful and a good size as well.

My shrimp love crawling in and around these logs, and they are the thin bark off of them almost immediately :) they didn’t change my water quality either!

Got these for my friends hermit crab aquarium and they are definitely a nice addition.

I have several of these in my shrimp tanks, they enjoy them. I would be hesitant about putting them in tanks where fish could get stuck in them. I don't know if my community fish are super special or what, but I had a couple of fish get stuck in them (managed to free them because I caught it quickly) before I removed the cholla from the community tank. I even tried to half-bury the cholla so my shrimp could still enjoy them but they ended up digging or knocking it out of the sand just so they could get stuck back in the cholla.
