I thoroughly enjoyed this sexy enemies to lovers story with great characters, romance and intrigue. She did advertising for authors and went to a convention to get new clients. She took.Her 4 year old daughter with her and she got turned down by most authors. Then she went to the booth of a well known author and met him. He didn't like her but took her card. A billionaire husband of her friend ashamed the author.into giving her a job interview. He had been hurt badly by his ex and wanted nothing to do with women, but hired her. He treated her terribly, but was attracted to her. He took her to a convention and after getting close, he found out she had lied to him about not having a child. They had complications, but the ending was great. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy from Booksprout.

This story is cute, funny and packs the heat! Violet needs a good job that pays well when one lands in her lap she tells one tiny lie that will come back and bite her. Peter is a condescending piece of work that hires her. He is attracted to Violet tries to push her away because of a past betrayal. This story has so much drama that will have you laughing and cheering for this couple not to mention the supporting characters that really rounds out this story.
