Not a true dual band antenna??
The window to return this item closed on June 1, 2021, it did not arrive until June 7, 2021. I would say it initially appeared to be what I expected. However, once it was installed and I started using it I found it did not work at all on VHF frequencies. If there was more than 20 or so feet of distance I could no longer be heard or hear transmissions sent my way. This was odd as it seemed to be ok on UHF frequencies, nothing amazing but adequate. I tried with a couple different portable radios and found the same results. So, my guess is it's not truly a dual band antenna or mne was defective. As I wasn't able to package it up and send it back to Amazon I contacted ABBREE. Of course they had no other reports of this so they offered me a refund of $8 CDN which I figured was as good as it would get so I accepted
